The staff were not very good at helping. Key cards continued to not work, and they kept saying I needed the manager to help me rather than the staff

Check in could have been smoother. To be fair we were a large group so this might not affect everyone. Issue was too many reception staff tried to deal with us and it quickly became confusing. Should have been more strategic from the start, i.e. who is in which room and process on a room by room basis. On a positive note they did get it sorted, and were friendly and professional through the process, but took too long and made it needlessly complicated.

Location was great for us. Just off the top of Las Ramblas meant that most things were in pretty easy walking distance. Rooms were great too, there was a large group and the shared rooms were convenient.

The narrow alleyway below our room was noisy at night with people shouting. Also the imposition of a third bed in our double room made it unnecessarily small. Had we been staying longer I would have asked to change rooms.

We requested a double room but two single beds were provided which my partner and I didn't like.

The location and the service were excellent and the room was very clean and quiet.

There where some issues in the room, blocked basin and locked safe. These did not get attended to the first time they where reported. We also asked hotel to book a transfer to the airport for our departure and they forgot to do this. This created anxiety on departure and left a poor view of the hotels ability to record and respond to requests.

Location was very convenient. Hotel was clean and rooms spacious.

The a/c worked, but it got warm at night. I woke up 2 times because it was too warm. Maybe they turn it off to conserve energy....

Great location and wonderful staff. The staff always helped us get a taxi for 5 people (which can be challenging because most hold 4 people). The courtyard was the perfect place to meet our group and have a drink. The restaurant Boquería across the street is excellent.

The shower was in the bath tub with a swinging glass partition to stop water getting on the floor. The seal on that was poor so we had a wet bathroom floor to mop up after every shower.

My room was very dark. I would have preferred a room that faced the courtyard with an opening window and light. The shower had no hot water on some days too which was weird.

I liked the courtyard. It was lovely after a busy day to enjoy a sangria and sit somewhere peaceful. My room was tiny and dark so I escaped to the courtyard when ever possible!

Difficult this, but keep on top of the maintenance. It's that tiny detail that is the difference between great and excellent.

Ideal central location, just step out of the door and you are on holiday. The secluded garden was wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

The bathrooms are in need of some attention. We stayed in 2 rooms and both of them has less than perfect bathrooms. First room, room 1101 the water from the shower leaks out onto floor outside the shower. The air-conditioning did not adjust easily, it was either too cold or not cold at all. Second room, room 2308, water runs along the back of the bath onto the floor.

Very good location. Breakfast good. Room was a fair size. Beds were comfortable.

Location is in the heart of the city and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. However, for me,the area was too crowded. Overall , it was good for short stay.

Their concept of a twin room was not the usual two singles separated by a bedside table but two single beds together, with no possibility of separating them.For me this is double...i reserved a twin

The check in was long. The rooms were not ready as promised - only 1 of 4 was ready at 1 pm. They were located in 3 separate areas of the hotel.

The breakfast was awesome - great selection and organized. Location was very central to shopping and restaurants.

The location is right in the middle of town where everything happens, the large courtyard to hang out, cleanliness and the breakfast

The furnishing were worn- torn leather headboards, chipped cupboard doors and wonky flooring. The rooms did not always have a clean smell to them. The family apartment was very worn, tired and grubby in places.

The first room (apartment) we were given had several issues,the staff were very helpful, friendly and quick to give us new rooms. The location is perfect for exploring the whole city and using the metro. A wide selection of toiletries given.

wifi signal was poor. Fridge was not especially cold even though it was set to low temperature.

room was large and clean. Beds were comfy. Lots of fluffy towels for showering. Location was fine. Passed on breakfast as it seemed expensive for four of us at 14 euros each.

Some maintenance issues, shower had broken soap dispenser, seals from shower door kept falling off. Just needed a bit of TLC.

Excellent location, close to everything but quiet and secure.
