A tastefully modernised hotel in a wonderful old building that maintained old wooden stairs and brick work. Clean comfortable and perfectly located for old Bilbao. Dog friendly too.

Old property so heard every creaky floorboard. Soundproofing poor, we were on 1st floor and was very noisy. Reception will provide ear plugs!

The location is great. This was my second time staying at this property and always something fun to see out the balcony/ windows in this part of town. The room was large and very comfortable (bed is huge). But honestly, it was the front desk staff that blew me away. They were all wonderful but Nadia was an absolute stand out. Prepare to get a Basque language lesson and amazing food recommends. Because of her, we felt like locals and blended in beautifully. I plan to go back within the year and will stay again.

The only thing I would improve is the lack of isolation. I suggest ear plugs for sleeping time. Both noises from within the hotel and from outside are very loud.

Amazing location, lots of bars and pubs around, walking distance from all the touristic spots. Very large and comfortable room, excellent shower. Very nice staff.

Nice to have a minibar, but overcharging for simple drinks (2.80€ for water? In Spain?) Internet not always functioning well. Wardrobe not functional (doors missing)

Adequate, small, and basic room..Good when it only serves for sleeping after exploring enchanting Bilbao. Friendly and welcoming reception. Perfect location, literally between the old and new.

In the room sometimes you can hear the steps of the people in the upper floor.

The hotel was almost fully booked, so I took a 'single room' with an inner courtyard view. Photos showed outside light in the room, but there was almost no light. In the morning, I did not realize if it was already daylight outside. I would not complain if there was a fair price, but I have paid ~195 euros per night, which I do not think is acceptable.

They put me on the 5th floor. The bedroom is served on the 6th floor. The floors on the 6th floor are old and make a lot of noise. So… I woke up at 6.30am (breakfast starts being served at 7am) with the noise from people walking on the floors above. Not great. Ask for a different floor.

Being the oldest hotel in Bilbao it is amazing how the interior is having the old and modern touch. Very clean, great location and friendly staff and most helpful.
