We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Israelthe rooms were good, friendly staff and very helpful. only problem we had was that the walls were thin and we could hear the room next door and above us. the rooms are clean, we didn't have breakfast, they gave us complimentary water which is cute. United States of AmericaDidn't care for the breakfast buffet. Also, the carpet in the room was really old and worn, and we wondered if it was ever cleaned. It looked dirty and we didn't want to walk barefoot on it.
Breakfast buffet was a disappointment. The eggs had a strange taste and the fruit wasn't fresh or ripe. We chose not to eat breakfast there again after the first morning.

Great variety at breakfast and open from 7 to 11 …this was great because you could have a good meal if you were leaving early for a tour and, if you wanted to sleep in you didn’t have to worry that you would miss breakfast. Amazing location …in the heart of the city!

The location was perfect, an extension of the famous but overcrowded Ramblas, it had the styling without the crowd. The architecture of the buildings on surrounding streets was characterful - Spanish old-colonial.

United KingdomI thought the room looked tired and dated, plus the location of where my room was (308) it was dark and dingy during the day. The carpets in some of the public areas, did also look worn and tired with some tears that were visible. In the past I have stayed in 3 other HCC hotels which were graded as ***, where as the Regente has a **** rating. It is only my opinion, but I assume that the 4 star rating is supported by the fact of its location and that it has a rooftop bar and pool area, and not to forget the staff who were all quite marvellous.

We were upgraded to a room with view on the Ramblas! We had a great stay, location wise it is the perfect hotel to stay when you are on a city trip. Lot's of things are interesting places to visit are walking distance from the hotel. Very helpful and friendly staff.

BelgiumDon't ever, ever take the standard double room (at least its number should not be the first in list - 101, 201, etcc) or you will end up with a room which window gives on a kind of well, without daylight. Claustrophobic: you'll resist but 30s... And still I had to pay 180EUR/night excluding breakfast! I ask to change (for an extra 15EUR/night fee). Much better! This said, I really miss having a small coffee/tea facility in the room. Also, airco cannot be adjusted for the temperature,only the fan level.
Very central with plenty of nice restaurants, bars and attraction rear by. Very pleasant and friendly staff. Nice rooftop terrace and bar. The twin bed room (if you are not unlucky enough to have one without window) is pretty comfortable.

MaltaHowever, the business centre outside of the conference rooms was really just a waiting area. No printer, no business facilities. etc. The breakfast was ok but the toasting machine was broken and the coffee was pretty poor. The scrambled egg was not great either.
