Loved the rooms, spacious, interiors were lovely and unpretentious. Excellent staff, everywhere was really clean and well maintained.

A really lovely set up of apartments that all have their own terrace overlooking the hills and sea. A warm welcome from the owners who were so friendly and helpful and great company. The breakfasts are incredible. I would really rate this hotel and very much hope to come back.

There was no coffee/tea making facilities in the room, which we would have made use of as we are very early risers. Other than that we couldn't fault anything.

For my liking, the bed was slightly hard - but this really was a wonderful place to stay - hence writing a reference when I don't normally bother.

Warm, genuine welcome from hosts. Great pool, breakfast/bar area and view/surroundings for walks - super relaxing. Spacious rooms/en suites with terraces.

We loved our stay at hotel rural can maries from the moment we arrived. Pepe and his wife are very accommodating and want to ensure you have a great stay! The hotel rooms are absolutely beautiful, the breakfast is gorgeous and the location is great! The hotel also feels very safe and friendly. This place had everything we needed for a few nights break, we could have definitely stayed longer and we can’t wait to visit again! The local beach is nice and benirras beach is about 1 hour walk or 10 minute taxi …we didn’t bother to hire a car as we only stayed 4 nights but if we decided to stay longer a car would definitely have been useful to see more of the island

The food options in the hotel were limited due to their chef having left shortly before we arrived.

Small, friendly, family-run hotel with only 16 rooms. It felt quite remote in the quieter northern part of the island surrounded by pine trees, but was only 30 minutes from the airport by car / taxi. The hotel is about 900 metres from the centre of Port de San Miquel and, if you don't have a car, you can walk it in 15 minutes, but it is quite a steep unmade road for part of the way. The hotel had recently lost its chef, so meals during the day / evening were restricted, so we ate out each day. The local beach was shingly sand, but pleasant enough and with plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas available at a cost of €8 each. The water was safe to swim in with a lifeguard on duty at busy times (i.e. at the weekend). The resort had 2 or 3 restaurants in Port de San Miquel and 3 small supermarkets for all your needs if self-catering. There were additional restaurants in San Miquel itself and, with a car, you could get to anywhere on the island within an hour easily.

Having to leave it - our week should have been longer. We will be back!

Pepe, Frauke, Katerina and Luis were just the best. So friendly, helpful, personable, nothing too much for us. Great evening meals and breakfast and fabulous wine choices. Everywhere was clean and beautifully designed, the views were just perfect as we relaxed each evening.

The lack of provision of a lunch service. Because the hotel is not close to any shops, if you don't plan to leave the hotel you either need to have a huge breakfast to try to carry you up to dinner or you need to drive/take a taxi elsewhere to get lunch, which isn't ideal. In hindsight we should've bought some snack bits to eat from a supermarket and kept them in the fridge.

Breakfast was perfect and plentiful. Facilities perfect. Beautiful location and views to match, owners and staff were extremely friendly and couldn't have done enough to give us a memorable stay, cant wait to go back.

Because of pandemic restaurant not open apart from breakfast so look forward to trying the cuisine on a future visit.

A beautiful spot, offers a tranquil place to relax and enjoy the lovely views. Spacious room with air con and large bed. Great position for exploring and proximity to some great beaches and restaurants. The owners and staff could not have been more helpful. Breakfasts delicious. Will definitely be back.

We didn't try the breakfast, so can't comment on the quality, but it didn't seem like it would be good value for money when booking. Be aware there is a steep, narrow, gravelly road up to the hotel to navigate.

Great location for exploring the north of the island by car, in peaceful surroundings, with sea views. Our room was very spacious and even had a kitchenette which we weren't expecting. Good value for money overall for the island.

This IS a rural property, therefore the somewhat rough road into the property is to be expected, but our small under powered car definitely struggled getting up the hill in the uneven terrain. Not a deal breaker however.

Absolutely gorgeous property in a rural location overlooking forest with a slight view of the sea. The pool was delightful as were the surroundings. Very peaceful setting.
