Fabulous location close to restaurants and bars, with a great view of the bay. Lovely staff, delicious breakfast & dinner in the restaurant was superb! Highly recommend. Wish we could stay longer & would definitely return. Very relaxing place.

The room was smaller than we thought but that didn't detract from our stay. No hanging space for dresses. The towels were only changed once during our week even though it stated every other day. The bathroom could do with an upgrade, it looked better in the pictures than in real life. But everything worked ok, the shower was good and water hot.

The hotel is in a very good location, situated near some lovely restaurants and ideal for visiting the whole island. The pool was lovely, breakfast plentiful although some variation during the week would have been nice. The bed was comfortable and air con good once the owner had sorted it for us! The room was clean and nice to have the balcony overlooking the pool. The staff work very hard and there is always someone on hand if needed.

Family run, very friendly staff and spotlessly clean hotel. Very good choices for breakfast and restaurant offered a good choice for dinner. Great views from the terrace and quiet pool area. A comfortable place to relax and close to the beach . Would definitely stay at Sa Barrera again.

Not really that we didn’t like it, but very rigid on checking in. We were 1 hour 10 minutes earlier & there was just no flexibility at all. Not even an offer to store luggage. So we were lucky we had hired a car to keep it in. They don’t serve lunch it was 30 degrees so we had to walk out & find somewhere to eat. My own fault really, but I thought all rooms looked over the pool & our small balcony looked along the street so wasn’t the best view. Just some advice, if you have white in your swim wear this pool turns the white yellow! So my new black & white stripe bikini that was £38 was ruined.

Quiet pool, nice room, friendly staff, good location. Nice place. We had a lovely evening meal, the view was amazing & the food was lovely. Overall a good stay, would definitely go back.

The bathroom really needs some work! The bathtub and the shower head were mouldy and peeling 😩 . Mattress and pillow not particularly comfortable .

Staff are very welcoming and try to help with everything, always kind and smiling. The room was quiet and could sleep well. Bright room with nice view. Good location near the beach, however the little town is very quiet and despite having some good restaurant there is nothing to see and do.

Thankfully, we were on the first floor but it would have sucked having to go upstairs with our luggage if that weren't the case.

The pool was awesome and breakfast options every morning were great! We also had on-site parking for our hire car.

If I have any criticism of this hotel it would be it’s restaurant . We felt it did let this place down a little but it had to most amazing seaview probably the best in town but that was about it.In comparison to the rest of the town it was abit over priced and the food was very average. The waitress were very friendly and helpful but it seemed they were untrained.

Beautiful place ,a small and intimate hotel and we loved its charm. Pool was so nice to swim in and the pool area so chilled. The staff here are so helpful and so friendly and tended to our every need. The hotel rooms were very clean and our room was cleaned and maintained throughout our stay. The aircon was great and showers were good too .Would definitely go back to this place if we are to go back to Menorca

The friendliness & warmth shown by all the staff is what makes it such a special little hotel. We were treated almost like family. Nothing was too much trouble for them, & they were always willing to provide help & advice with places to visit & things to do. In a larger hotel this would rarely happen. The room was clean. Breakfasts were good. The pool never too busy. A good restaurant for evening meals. Big thanks go to Roberto, Carmen & all their team!

Breakfast, although nice, was a little limited. Rather than sitting by the pool, would have much preferred to be able to sit at the tables used for dinner, overlooking the bay.This would have been a fabulous start to the day.

The hotel was quirky and charming. The staff were lovely - very helpful and friendly. The room was small, but had a fantastic view and was clean and functional. Very conveniently located for all the facilities of the town, within walking g distance, but with the best view of the bay and beach.

Offered freshly cooked eggs, bacon etc on first day but not thereafter. Not sure if expectation was for us to go to bar to ask directly or if we were just forgotten during waitress service at breakfast. It wasn’t a problem though as the food in buffet selection was more than enough!

Brilliant attentive staff, always smiling and friendly ready to help with any requests. Beautiful location for dinner in their restaurant overlooking beach. 5-10 min walk down steps to beach. Relaxing, quiet pool area with bar service for drinks.

There are a lot of steps to get down (and back up) to the beach. 181 of them, to be exact. We looked at them as an opportunity to work off some of the paellas we had eaten, but they might be difficult for some.

The view from the patio is amazing! I loved having my morning coffee (which was delicious), overlooking Cala ‘n Porter beach. A lovely assortment at breakfast with freshly cooked eggs made to order. Room and bathroom was a little on the small side, but very comfy and has a small fridge to keep water etc cool. The pool was lovely for an afternoon dip after a day at the beach. Lots of really good restaurants close by. The staff were very accommodating, ordering us taxis whenever we needed one (we didn’t rent a car).
