How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I’ve stayed here many times & always find the service, & hotel excellent! My Son lives 10 mins from the hotel, so it’s a very convenient location for me. The staff are always welcoming, & my room is always beautifully clean, & comfortable.

There was no kettle in the room. Evening staff (one particular person) wasn't very friendly or helpful

The check-in at the reception took a long time There were 2 pillows in the bed, both of them too thick for my liking.
Easy parking at garage, spacious room though view on a brick wall, nice breakfast buffet, which we will take next time.

Underground parking is very tight. It's very hard to park, especially with a bigger car. There was strong odor of sewage in the basement on the first day. AC was set to heating so it was very hot on the first night. This issue was promptly fixed next day by the staff
Location is absolutely perfect - walking distance to all attraction in the city center, easy access to main roads. Big spacious room, superb view, friendly staff. All other things were exactly what I would expect from 4 star hotel.

Coffee or Tea Tray in room would be appreciated after a busy day discovering the city. Complimentary bottled water can be found in most hotel rooms, but here it was in the mini bar at a cost 🙄
Lovely modern and central hotel. The car park is an added bonus in a busy city. Staff friendly and breakfast superb!

Strange smell in the room, like in some old museum. The aircond didn’t work, the temperature wouldn’t drop below 25.5 C, so we opened t he e window. No double bed, just joined twins.
Good location, 5 min to the city center. Friendly and helpful staff.

Have stayed at this hotel before for short breaks it has always been very good this time they flagged that is was my wife’s birthday and a member of staff arrived at our door with a plate of cakes very good touch

I had a bit of trouble ordering dinner as 2 waiters ignored me and I was not served until several people who had arrived at least 15 minutes after I did. I had checked with the front desk and they assured me that the restaurant was open and ready for dinner before I entered.
We liked the location, which was excellent for walking around the central part of the city and seeing the sights. The room was very comfortable and well appointed. Based on my experience I would book this hotel chain again in the future. It was also a short taxi ride from the train station

There was nothing. All was very welcome. We had lovely staff. Would recommend to family and friends.

Insulation between rooms on level above was not great. Easy to hear children.
Good location close to the river and the shipping centre. Clean and modern. Excellent breakfast service.

Nice and large room, I'd say with standard business decoration, huge shower and well decorated bathroom. Best location in town, few steps from historical city centre but no pain to reach it with the car. Garage available. Georgous breakfast.

Breakfast was overpriced for what was on offer €13 each paid at the hotel.
Large room with plenty of space around the bed, the room also included 2 armchairs. Plus! Large bright bathroom with walk-in shower. All of the staff were very friendly and spoke English.
