Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BelgiumWhile the room was comfortable and reasonably well-appointed, we felt that it lacked charm and that it could definitely do with some basic redecorating to match the stylish aesthetics of the bar area.
We stayed in a room with a view of the river and the cathedral and I am not exaggerating when I say it truly is a marvellous view: the pink cathedral of Albi rises majestically over the river bank, dwarfing all other buildings and magically changing colour as the Sun moves across the sky. The room itself was not very big but sufficient for a short stay. The hotel's public areas boast a gorgeous bar, with a balcony overlooking the river, and a ground-floor restaurant, as well as a lovely small garden and a car park.

We had a river view room. The room was very comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. Breakfast was included - all you need to start the day. Location was great. Walking distance to Albi old town with its magnificent cathedral. There is a little bus that can take you up hill if necessary. We could the walk easy - we are in our 70’s.

Spainwe were on the fourth floor room where the air conditioning was basically at the entrance to the room, but the room was U-shaped, so the air did not reach us even when it was set to very cold. We were very hot at night and there was no way for the air to flow even when the fan was at its highest speed. it was so hard that we could not sleep under the down comforter they have, which is the only option they offer to sleep in. We did ask them just for some sheets because it was so hot in there and they did bring those to us. Otherwise it would have been a great experience.
this is a very well located hotel with a beautiful river view. The hotel breakfast is excellent, and the staff was very friendly. The bartender was also very knowledgeable and made great suggestions for an awesome deconstructed gin and tonic.

JapanWifi is a bit weak.
Room 210 had windows on two sides and a great view, but the windows were low, so it was just the right size to see it from the bed. Water was provided from the water dispenser in a bottle borrowed from the front desk. Breakfast was served on the terrace while enjoying the view. Simple and decent, but no vegetables.

United KingdomVery dated with peeling paintwork, windowsill in room and corridors badly scratched. Room was too warm as airco did nothing. With window open much cooler but the noise of the weir was deafening. Large group of bikers in breakfast area on first day so it was really noisy and most of the items had gone.
Location close to city. Lovely view of the river. Good secure on-site parking. Breakfast included. Dinner on the terrace was very pleasant.

FranceThe hotel's Italian restaurant was closed for several weeks (chef on vacation!). We didn't know this until a couple of weeks before we arrived, well after we had booked. The staff were very helpful in trying to find alternatives in town, but so many places were also closed, or fully booked, so there wasn't too much choice.
An Xmas gift to every guest! A wonderful gesture. Our dog was welcomed, and befriended by staff and guests. The view across the river to the old town, and of the very old bridge (being restored) was stupendous. Good walking paths, for dog (and humans) along the far side river bank. Easily accessible via the old bridge. Close-in car park.

United KingdomThe hotel was situated just 5 mins walk from both the commercial centre and the historic one. Parking was plentiful. The room was comfortable and amazingly quiet, even though there was a weir and a road nearby. (Effective double glazing!) The piece de resistance was the superb breakfast: Plentiful and varied, including continental and cooked. There was a machine crushing oranges, giving you the freshest possible orange juice. There was also a large selection of loose teas, including English Breakfast AND fresh milk! The receptionist spoke English, which was useful. All in all, great visit. We wish we could have stayed longer. N.B. We got horribly lost, trying to find the hotel as the sat nav wanted to take us down roads that were closed. Make sure you stipulate no. 2 n°2 rue de la visitation.
