Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

General Location Close to the train station is good! But you have to be aware of the street next to rooms, so esp. with open window it can be very load. My room was facing a construction are and one night during the week they worked the whole night, which you could hear even with closed windows ... WiFi is open, at a later stage you have to sign in. The signing in is necessary every day and it felt unstable from time to time. Even though the Hostel has dishes etc in the kitchen for the free breakfast they put single use cups and dishes, which is neither comfortable nor sustainable or with any sense. The rooms have bathrooms but I at least didn't see a public bathroom e.g. in the ground floor Towel was changed everyday, which should be made optional. I personally did not need a new towel anymore but had no chance to keep the one from before.
Towels and basic breakfast free I booked a 6 bed dorm and got a 4 bed one, which was nice Power sockets close to the bed

very small space on the bed, can’t sit on it， only lie down. unstable and shaky bed
transportation is convenient, offering breakfast, the greatest thing is the terrace behind the kitchen，I stay there until 10pm to enjoy the wonderful night sky.

The location was very good, close to the station and Nice center, it allows for easy access to plenty of activities. The hostel was clean, had a great kitchen, and the facilities exceed my expectations in terms of comfort.

A bit smelly room probably because humidity in the 5th floor ,
Convenient, quiet despite the crowdy location and traffic, well arranged, super staff, breakfast included, nice terrace , practical for anything , bathroom inside the room

The sheets and blanket were a bit dusty but it was alright
The staff were really nice I stayed in the 4 room girls dormitory and was just there to sleep before my flight The showers had hot water and the room was clean

Great hospitality, the receptionist was very nice, the room was clean and comfortable, the hostel is close to the train station which is perfect for travelers. I really enjoyed my stay. Overall great experience!

The room especially the toilet was poorly maintained. While we did have cleaning done everyday (except the weekend) it was pretty hard to use.
I like how the property is near the train station and 15 mins walk from the beach so good.

The hostel is located in a very good area, the center of the city. It is located near the train station and the main route to the sea. Nearby are tram, buses and trains. Although breakfast is not offered, coffee, tea and cereal and milk are available. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean and spacious, with private bathrooms. Nothing is missing.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable.
We had a great stay and we’re upgraded to a private room on arrival free of charge. The water pressure in the shower was phenomenal. The “not-breakfast” breakfast was everything you needed. Super close to the train and tram.

I was asked to pay cash on arrival which I thought was strange

The proximity to the train station. The dorm rooms were roomy and the bathrooms were clean. There was a nice terrace and a common area, also a kitchen with utensils and appliances to make a quick meal.
