Really helpful in emails beforehand. Very helpful and friendly when we arrived after a long drive. Very rural and on a walking/cycle track where railway line used to be. On banks of Loire. Brilliant for our dogs to have a run off lead. Bathroom modern and great. They are clearly doing a lot of upgrading work. Bedroom electricity a bit limited. We had a really lovely 3 course dinner in a communal space, but no other diners (mid January!). Good value for 22Euro each. We bought a pleasant local red wine as well. Breakfast was traditional, bread, jam, yoghurt, coffee, cake if you wanted it. The bread at dinner and breakfast was really delicious.

Some confusion about supper on our first night, which was a Sunday. It is always difficult to get dinner in France on Sunday, so we booked in advance. When we arrived there was no supper reservation. We found a very nice restaurant nearby instead.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Very enjoyable table d'hote supper with local wines. Basic comfortable bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. Beautiful garden with seats and sofas amongst the chickens. The old railway next to the property has been converted into a cycling and walking path. Great for safe family bike rides.

Nothing, provided what I needed at a good price.

Great find for a stop over on way home. Place is being updated but clean rooms with good facilities. The bonus is the wonderful garden to sit in and hens roaming about free range. Great breakfast.

Recently decorated room of good size and modern ensuite. Evening meal was good and served in the lovely garden. Good breakfast. Good walking/cycling path on repurposed railway track by side of property

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and rather big. A very quiet and beautiful surrounding and a possibility to walk and ride a bicycle. We were very pleased.

Rooms need fans in the summer!

Fine for an overnight stay, would have been good to have fans in the room as it was so warm. The owners were very friendly and breakfast was good with fresh bread. Lovely outdoor space.

Nothing, but the jaded decor and fixtures might not suit everyone.

Lovely family-run business in former railway hotel, next to the cycle track. Friendly and personable. Loved the animals (bantams, chickens, ponies, goats). Evening meal (need to pre-book) in the garden was a great way to end a very hot day touring.

Bed a little bit low and too soft for us but that's a personal thing.

Always a warm welcome, we had forgotten to book the evening meal and a while later we were enjoying a drink in the lovely garden and they came out and offered to make us a salad with dessert. We gratefully accepted as we didn't fancy any more driving that day.

Room not \s expected and did not have the facilities mentioned; only a bed, lights, one table and chair; bathroom with no soap or anything to clean hands. No coffee making facilities etc. etc.

Nothing.

After a very hot and long drive it was wonderful to relax in the garden with a cold beer. Silky chickens were running about, there was a goat and a couple of ponies. I could hear a cuckoo for the first time in years. Just as we were thinking we would have to drive to the nearest town to find somewhere to eat an evening meal, we were offered the chance to dine at the Chambres d'Hotes with some other guests. Everyone was friendly and it was fairly informal and relaxed.
