I stopped in the single room and albeit clean and tidy, I thought for the price asked was slightly too much for what was a very basic room. Saying that I would return.

Paper cups in the bedroom for tea and coffee. The towels in the bathroom were rather small. Little things that would lift the hotel even more. Nonetheless I would stay there again

Our room was fairly basic and noisy at night. Very few sockets for chargers and no mini fridge.

Great central location made it easy to walk around the central city. Large spacious room. Staff were helpful. Communal areas were more attractive and characterful.

The shower pressure was not as strong as I’d like but that wasn’t a major issue

I came to Hotel de la Loge after staying in a place without air conditioning on the hottest nights in France. This was a welcome relief. The area is lovely. The staff are friendly. And they looked after my bike in the foyer and even though no one was on the front desk overnight there was someone there keeping an eye on things which was very reassuring.

We had a nicely decorated and large room. All recently renovated. Great location. When you use the recommended parking don't take heavy luggage because you have to walk a few hundred meters.

Unusual system of reception being completely closed between 12pm-3pm. We also arrived at 11:45am when it was meant to be open, but it was still closed- we had to make a telephone call to have it opened, so we could deposit our luggage and explore the city (prior to check in at 3pm). I understand that this is completely beyond the hotel's control, but the square outside the hotel becomes filled with loud youths (even on a weeknight) playing music and yelling from 11pm until about 2-3am. I suspect it may be a regular occurrence from reading other reviews. Therefore, future guests who are light sleepers are advised to bring ear plugs.

The bed in our room wasn't very comfortable, it was too low and it was a very small double, however this will not deter us from booking this hotel again.

Appreciated the room check in times stated, but it was unclear that the hotel would be 'closed' between 12 noon - 3pm, luckily we arrived just after 12noon and there was still cleaning personnel available to accept our luggage and we did not have to carry our bags for 3hours.
