Steep stairs to climb to second floor room and no help with luggage. Breakfast is not open until 08.15 making it tight for the 09.30 Brittany Ferry crossing to Portsmouth check in.

The double room was very clean and there is free public parking. Large and comfortable double bed.

A bit hot in the room as we were at the top, however we managed to open the shutters to let in some air and then it was fine.

Quaint and quirky. Fantastic communication from hotel. They called us on the day to explain how to access the hotel as we were arriving late. Really good breakfast with a nice variety on offer. Pleasant hosts.

Friendly staff and a great Continental breakfast. The location, close to the beach and only a couple of kms stroll along the esplanade from St.Malo was very pleasant. A quiet location just off a Main Street, we were able to find local parking without any problem. Surprisingly few local options for dinner though, so heading back toward St.Malo is probably a better option in the evenings.

We had a ground floor room confirmed. We ended up on the 2nd floor up two flights of stairs with no lift. Not acceptable. Also the toilet seat was very loose and nearly fell off. The sink plug didn't work either. Sloppy maintenance/cleaning staff.

A bit tired around the edges. Breakfast didn’t start until after 8, when we had to leave for the ferry.

Pleasant place and near the beach with easy access to the old town by bike. Nice outside seating area.

The hair dryer was not working, and there was a lack of light in the room and the bathroom. I wasn't able to see myself in the mirror :) Breakfast was ok, but there were not a lot of choices.

It was very clean, and the staff were so kind and helpful. They were always smiling and trying to help u with everything. The atmosphere was awesome, and my room was so comfortable .

Toilet smell

The receptionist was friendly and down to earth. The breakfast was amazing, the best freshly baked bread I’ve ever tasted and a great selection. No kettle in the room and if we haven’t bought our own we’d have had to get the coffee up 3 flights of stairs, so a flask would have then been preferable. Our room was quiet, we had to open the window though and could hear some air conditioning unit or something humming. No view of anything nice but at least we had fresh air. Unfortunately when we stayed our en-suite toilet smelt a bit but we could put up with it for a night. I’m sure that could be rectified somehow for future guests.

Small comfortable room in a well appointed hotel. Very welcoming and helpful staff and a generous breakfast. The hotel is about a 40 minute walk from the intra muros along the beachfront. We came by bike and there is a safe covered area to leave them overnight. It is a 10 minute cycle to/from ferry port.

Shower and bathroom are tiny.

Staff were great and I very much appreciated being able to have our bikes delivered to the hotel prior to us arriving. Breakfast also was very good.

Actually it could be a very nice hotel, but the maintenance... Wall colour was peeling off, the flowers in the pots were all dry. The blow dryer did not work and looked dangerous. The room did not look like the pictures!

Lovely little place tucked in a road behind the beach. Good eateries just down from the hotel. Big airy room and felt clean. We will definitely use again.

Not keen on the circular bed! Room smelt a bit damp

Room was good value for money, shower was good. Staff friendly and helpful. Short walk to the beach, plenty of bars and restaurants close by. On street parking (free). Ten minutes drive to the ferry
