If only because of the perfect location, this is just about the ideal spot to stay when you're travelling, right in between the trainstations Lille Europe and Lille Flanders, a few minutes walk from either - without even a chance of getting wet when it's pouring rain - , but also a good starting point when you want to visit Lille itself, as you're in the centre of the city within a kilometre. The apartment itself is basic, nothing fancy, no frills, but it has all the amenities you might need, even a loggia to sit with a few down on the lively area in front of the huge shopping centre.

Having a largish sum of money held by the company awaiting their approval of us. It is annoying and can limit your future spending when holidaying.

The location is excellent very close to the station and a walk through the station to the old quarter. The place has two lifts, very clean and the Wi-Fi was free. We were placed in a room for the disabled and so the set-up was not that of a normal room. There is a bar on the bottom floor but it is basic in what it serves. The breakfast we did not try as it was quite dear and it was for cheaper to get a good breakfast nearby. We chose this place because of its closeness to the railway station and convenience in dropping off the hire car. The front staff were very accommodating and helpful.

It would have been nice to have the use of an oven but there are so many choices of places to eat you are really spoilt for choice.

A very clean flat with good facilities and friendly host Nicholas. Perfectly situated midway between both railway stations (Lille Europe and Lille Flanders (approx. 300 metres in both directions), located on top of a huge shopping mall with a huge range of shopping outlets. A very busy location for restaurants, pubs/bars and fast food outlets but not overly noisy when it is time for settling down for the evening. Would strongly recommend.

- There are white powder formed on the boiling metal in the water boiler (could be due to the quality of the water). - The towel is provided but not very clean as stains can be seen. - TV with TV box provided but it was not function too well (either due to the slow WIFI connection or the battery of the remote control is low) and I am only able to switch it on the first day - The light near to the door is spoilt and not usable - There is no light at the lobby while waiting for the lift to come up and I need to switch on my touch light. It only light up when the lift arrived at the level.

- The location is excellent as it is located between 2 main train stations in Lille: Lille-Flandres and Lille Europe. - There is shopping mall just besides the apartment with food places and supermarket (Carrefour) within the mall. - There are many eateries around that area - Because it is a private apartment, there are basic appliances that can be used: electric stove, microwave, fridge, washing machine (without dryer), and hair dryer. There are utensil, plates and pots available if wish to cook. - There is balcony with table that you can sit and have view toward Lille Europe station - Easy to check in as the host sent a clear instruction through WhatsApp on the day of arrival - It is suitable for 1-2 person to stay in this apartment with a queen size bed

location was great. 5mins walk from the station. Close to town centre, right above Westfield shops. Apartment was small, but has a balcony almost as big as the apartment that is very multi functional. So did not feel closed in. Quite a good view and plenty of light. Host Nicolas was informative and ready to help. So felt like there would be no issues.

Host was extremely proactive and give us all the instructions in a very precise way. The location was very handy for us, we needed to be near the station and the apartment is close to both Lille Europe and Lile Flanders. It's a very modern side of Lille, in stark contrast with the beautiful city centre, so perhaps a bit unremarkable, but close to the city centre and everything you need. The studio apartment was clean and well equipped, it was really good for us for the 2 nights we spent there.

The outside of Lille Europe is a concrete wasteland and the entrance to the apartments is a quite gloomy. Only a problem if you arrive late and in the dark.

Reasonably priced and in reasonable condition. Very handy for Lille Europe (5 minutes stroll) and Lille Flanders (possibly a bit longer but very direct) Huge mall literally next door. Exceptionally located for an overnight stop with enough facilities for a longer stay.
