Unfortunately, the bathroom wasn’t great. Clean but the shower was without barrier and after a shower the entire bathroom was a lake.

Restaurant was closed the 1 night we were staying which we didn’t realise until we arrived, so we had to go out and find somewhere to eat on a Sunday which was difficult.

Location was beautiful and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The Suite room was a great size for our family, and the bonus balcony had gorgeous views.

The staff. Or specifically the manageress/ co- owner. Officious, lacked basic customer skills. We needed to leave at 05.00 so I spoke to her about paying any additional monies for food and beverages the night before. She stated it would have to be after evening service. I agreed. When I eventually spoke to her after evening service. She was clearly unhappy, said its not possible and was about to sit in the courtyard with an alcoholic drink and relax.....at 10.pm! When I said OK, I'll vacate in the morning and you won't get paid.....She eventually changed her tune.

Breakfast was plentiful and of good quality

Rather shabby / old decor / in need of a refresh/ update. The staff/owners were not very helpful. If you wanted to check out before 8am (surely not that early if you're on a road trip or have a plane/train to catch??) then you had to leave your car outside and no coffee was available. The pool was ok but tatty - the sun beds very old and the paving around the pool was in need of repair. We didn't get the rooms we had paid for on booking.com. They were all meant to have a patio or terrace. We paid for 2 doubles and 1 single. One of the 'doubles' turned out to be a single on the first floor with no patio/ balcony and a tree right outside so no 'garden view'

Location and country hotel atmosphere. The dinner was excellent

The check-in time was only 8 pm, and we struggled to arrive on time. They were kind enough to check us in a bit late (as long as the restaurant did not close). We booked by mistake (without the 24h reception filter) and had to rush there to make it in time. Also, on our last day, the restaurant was closed for dinner (understandable), but keep in mind to organize around it. The pool is deep, with no taper. If you don't know how to swim, it's not an option unless you are 1.83cm / 6 feet or higher to stand up.

The rooms were big and spacious, and the terrace was magnificent. The covered parking was excellent. The cars did not heat up, giving us peace of mind. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast and dinner were very good. Despite our short stay, we spent some time in the pool.

Nothing really, every thing was to our expectations.

The room was very spacious, clean and quiet and the hotel is very charming in the middle of the Provence countryside, yet very close to Roussillon. Around 10min by car. Parking no problem. Although I didn't take the breakfast it looked delicious and the ambience was magnificent.

Bathroom looked amazing but there was no shower screen so every time we used the shower the whole bathroom got flooded and we would need to mop up the puddles.

A beautiful spot with stunning views. Room was great with a terrace overlooking the poppy fields. Shame it was raining when we stayed as would have loved to make more of the terrace. Went out for dinner but had drinks in the bar on return, sat in the games room and played chess. Restaurant looked lovely and the outside seating would be great in better weather. Pool looked lovely but didn't get chance to try it. Staff were all lovely and spoke good English. Would highly recommend this place.

This wasn't a huge deal for me, but it should be noted that the graveled parking area is slightly set apart from the rest of the hotel so guests should be prepared to carry/transport their luggage to check-in, about the equivalent of one city block. There is a paved path once a visitor exits the parking area.

Room 28, two nights; Staff: friendly and helpful, parking on-site; staff speaks English Room: very quiet ground floor room faces the north side which I appreciated given the July temperatures when I stayed. Entry is from a covered terrace which offers seating. The room is small but completely adequate. I could have stayed longer than two days and been quite comfortable. Full size bed was firm and comfortable. Four pillows. Shelves with two open drawers and hanging space. Small safe. Shower room with sink. Separate toilet closet. Full length mirror by the door. No window but large window in door. Stone floors. Flat screen TV. Air conditioning can be adjusted to desired temperature by the manager. Small refrigerator. Small table with chair. Plenty of lighting. Free wifi. Free shaded parking. There’s a restaurant on site that serves breakfast and dinner. I had two excellent dinners here. (Reservations are necessary for dinner and you do not need to be a hotel guest to eat here.) Some rooms on the property may require that the room key be turned in every time you leave the property. The pool is very nice and of a good depth about 6 feet I think. The water was cool even on a very, very hot day. Plenty of chaise lounges placed about. I had some small flies in my room (which ultimately didn’t bother me) but it might be good to remind visitors that this is a hotel in the country. Also, the door to this room does not lock when you’re inside the room. There is an outer wooden door that latches and is held in place by a long hook. (see photos). I did not feel unsafe here, I’m only mentioning this because I'm not used to not being able to lock myself inside a room. Julie Hardouin, Main Manager was helpful and friendly. Nikolai is manager who was also most helpful. Large good quality, self service breakfast is 12 euros and offers anything you can imagine from pastries, fruit, eggs, meat, cheese, etc. Omelets can be requested. Highly recommend. I would stay here again.

Everything was a little out of date. In a way this had its charm but we were left with the feeling that the place had a potential to be much more. The drain in the shower was clogged and it was flooding the floor.

This is a great place if you’re looking for peace and quiet. The swimming pool was not the most modern but you could find shade and there were sun beds. The breakfast was great and the hotel restaurant is good. The view from the hotel was excellent and they have alpacas in the back yard. The staff was friendly and helpful but not everyone spoke English.
