Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Noise from the ventilation in the bathroom. The toilet was placed too high!
Quiet room: no noise from the street, fridge, or elevator (the room had a window to the back side, not to the street). Clean.

The only reason I didn't give it a higher rating is the heat. The air conditioner doesn't cool the room and it's impossible to keep the window open during the night because of the noise on the main street. I had read the same feedback from other travellers on booking.com, so it seems to be a recurring issue with this hotel. The second night I used ear plugs and left the window open, but this is really not ideal as it makes for a free buffet for the mosquitos.
I really liked my stay here. The location is central, the staff is friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Nice balcony with a clear view.

Very small room with window covered over due to construction.
Great filling breakfast of good selection fresh juices, fruits, cold cuts, cereals, breads, hot drinks. Perfect location for historical museums visit. One way and closed streets challenged driving. Good room amenities

The bed was really comfy we slept well. Breakfast was excellent - nice selection of continental style items. The hotel seemed very quiet as well no road noise and good wall insulation. Good location near the tram stop and 10 minute walk into the main restaurant area. Little supermarket nearby as well.

We liked everything.
The bed was very comfortable. The room was spacious and quiet. We had restful sleep both nights. The breakfast was exceptionally good. There was a fresh orange juice squeezer. The buffet had fresh bread and croissants. We could see them being made. We were pleasantly surprised.

Small bar area was expensive.
Really lovely family friendly hotel. Location was good - tram station just 2 mins walk away. Free transport at weekends. Could walk to city entre in about 20 mins. Breakfast was really excellent. Nice lobby area for children to watch TV. Comfortable beds. Excellent value for money.

There weren't many electric sockets, just one near the bed and the other on the other side of the room. The furniture was basic, with a single chair and a very small table. There was a single hook in the bathroom and no towel rack, which was a bit too limited. I didn't see anything warm at breakfast, only cold items (but a decent choice).
The hotel is very well located, in front of the central train station. I asked for a quiet room and I got one, on a higher floor over a side street -- it was perfect. The price is very reasonable for a downtown hotel. The single room was small but clean, and nothing was missing.

There was nothing that I didn't like.
The girl at the reception was Very welcoming and professional. The room was very clean. And the bed was really comfortable! The breakfast had enough options And there's is also a machine for fresh orange juice. Perfectly located! If I come back to Nantes I will stay there again!

Staff at the entrance not the most welcoming. I've never seen the same face twice which probably explains the 'no care attitude' energy floating there.... But on the whole all good.
Liked the fresh juice. Just the stuff should be more careful when replenishing the basket, one of the orange landed on me luckily not hurt but the glass was hit and flew with juice everywhere including my clothes.....

I liked mostly everything.
Breakfast is composed of high quality selections, tasty altogether. I only missed the classic omlette, but this is subjective. Room is clean, modern. One remark, no light switches next to the bed, so you switch off the light and try to find your bed in the dark. Apart from that, very comfortable and friendly. I enjoyed the silence and the ambiance overall. Staff is smiley and efficient.

The towels in the bathroom were old and worn out and need to be changed They could also improve on the breakfast options. It felt more like an Ibis budget than an Ibis style (for example, only cold hard boiled eggs were available unlike some other Ibis styles that have the omelette option and give you the option to boil your own eggs with an egg boiler).
The room design and lighting were excellent.
