The sliding door to the bathroom was quite heavy. Keep in mind the steep stairs.

The room was clean and cozy, spacious for a quadruple. Perfect location in the city center with a nice view of the square. Based on our experience, we don't understand the negative reviews, especially considering the value for money ratio.

Since last year when we started they appear to have got rid of tea and coffee facilities in the rooms. Sadly that will probably stop me staying a fourth time, as a coffee first thing in the morning is a priority for me.

Third time at Le Kleber, great location and nice hotel, friendly staff. Reasonably priced, great shower and if you don't need a coffee first thing in the morning I'd thoroughly recommend this as a great base for a few days in Strasbourg.

Well, the week I stayed, mid-Janviers, was cold weather in strasbourg. Maybe I didn't know how to turn up the heat in the room, but was a bit cool, considering the outside temp. Outside was around -3C to +2C. Inside the thermostat was set at from 19C to 22C, though was cool. (there may have been a secondary in-room heater that I didn't realize could turn on?).

A small point, the cooked items for breakfast could have been topped up a little sooner but really in light of how busy they were it really wasn't an issue.

The very narrow entrance with just one old elevator (during peak times takes long time), the small breakfast room that can be crowded at peak times.

Breakfast - horrible, watery and cold scramble eggs, the dining room is VERY small. May be because of the holiday, the dining room was jam-packed. There is ONLY one person, trying to serve everyone.

Location was great. Right on the plaza and walking distance to shops and train station. the drawback for being in the center of the city was noise come from all direction all through the night.

Fire alarm accidently going off at 5 30 in the morning as they prepared the morning breakfast

Excellent value for money, in city center , Christmas markets at the door step, Excellent budget hotel No frills to pay extra for, rooms basic but very clean and tidy which is all 1 needs, main shopping streets around the hotel, main attractions less than 5 min walk Main tram stop at the hotel so ease of getting anywhere in the city with no walking far for transport. Tte staff are what makes a hotel on first impressions and must say the staff here are so warm and welcoming.

The room wasn’t properly cleaned after our first night. The rubbish in our bins and table wasn’t thrown away and the bed wasn’t done (One of the pillows was still on the floor and the bedsheet was not properly tucked, it was just pulled over the pillow).

The room was very nice and very big. Lovely receptionists always willing to help and improve your stay. Overall our experience was very pleasant.

The provided breakfast can be improved. Not enough toiletries provided. And yeah you can heard what happening outside your door and vice versa.

If you are travelling in December, and want to be closer to the Xmas market, then this is the place. In term of location, it is opposite the the Place Kleber and Xmas market. Everything is around you, the Gallery Lafayette, pharmacy, tram stop, etc. The room was good enough for me as most of the time I was exploring the city. Decent amenities provided and perfect for explorer.

Color of the rooms and theme , we were on the framboise floor, the room was fucsia. Not beautiful at all, not the colour when you want to rest, the bathroom had a smell like clogged tubes. During breakfast around 9h30 they did not have enough food for all guests.

Priveleged location for Xmas markets, staff really professional and friendly.
