If you walked into town (downhill) the walk back was not long, but it is a challenging uphill!

Teresa and Stephane have a very comfortable and well maintained century plus old hotel. Beds and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, euro breakfast was very complete and the pool and terrace area was a nice added bonus. Views from the rooms (Jr and Sr Suites) was fabulous! Secure parking area was also a nice bonus. On top of all that, Teresa and Stephane were very gracious hosts.

A bit of a steep walk up the hill after dinner but no problem if you are fit!

Lovely welcome from Therese who upgraded our room from garden to lake view at no extra cost. Beautiful room (10), very comfortable 👌. Fantastic breakfast, including the last morning on the terrace. Nothing was too much trouble.

The hosts at Oasis were absolutely amazing, so friendly and helpful. We could tell they truly care for their guests and do everything they can to make their stay comfortable and enjoyable. This location was easily walkable to downtown area with lots of shopping and food. The pool is beautiful and there are a lot of sitting areas on the property to sit and relax. We would highly recommend this stay!

We visited this hotel 9 years ago, and we wanted to visit again, because we had a very good memory of this hotel. And we still want to come back another time. Everything is in order, the room, the view, the people and the pool and location in general. The breakfast is very French and fantastic. Thanks a lot for a wonderful stay. This is how a small family hotel should be run!

Dragging our suitcase up a fairly steep flight of stairs to reach our room. We didn't like walking back late at night without street lights but this is nothing to do with the hotel. Otherwise everything was OK.

The breakfast was excellent. We did not use the pool but it looked wonderful and we had a partial view of the lake from our room.

It was very humid and sticky so we really missed air-conditioning in our room, especially at night. For the price of the room this should be added, at least to the superior room which we had. We had to shower in a bath tub, we always prefer to have a normal shower, rather than a bath tub.

Very friendly hostess who gave us good recommendations about restaurants and things to do in the area. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. We heard no noise from outside or other guests. The balcony had a nice view on the lake. The swimming pool was nice and the sunbeds were comfortable. Due to bad weather we haven't been able to use them a lot unfortunately.

Our room wasn’t airco’d, which, normally, we are quite OK with. With the very warm temperatures it would have been nice though. On the positive side, since there were no mosquito’s, we could leave all the windows open and it cooled down during the night.

This is really an excellent spot, with a nice and spacious terrace overlooking the lake, a decent size pool and green grounds around. Our room was located in the ancillary building. It was quiet and had a nice balcony to relax. Hosts are very friendly. A good quality breakfast is served, outside where you can enjoy the view. Maybe a tad on the expensive side, but, then again, it’s better than what you usually get in other places in France. We originally intended to stay just one night but we booked extra simply because of the athmosphere of the place.

The room was nice and clean with a small balcony to enjoy. L'Oasis is located on a hill and has a big terrace with a fantastic view on Lake Geneva where we enjoyed delicious breakfast with a variety of sweet and savoury treats. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. The pool is big enough to take a swim and very nicely located in the quiet garden of the hotel. Several very good restaurants and the city centre are within walking distance. All in all it was a very delightful stay.

There was no coffee / tea / mini kettle facility in the room to make coffee before breakfast was served. So if you need to be up and out of the room for an event before 7:30am there is no way to at least have a cup of coffee in the morning and there is no option to have any special coffee or breakfast provision outside of these hours. Another inconsequential issue but perhaps worth mentioning is that all of the electrical plug sockets in the room are already being used by lamps and the bar fridge, meaning that you will need to unplug these in order to charge your devices or alternatively, bring an extension cord if you have multiple devices that need charging at the same time.

Great breakfast and lovely pool facility. The staff are helpful and the hotel is easily accessible. I visited during the heat wave and although there was no air conditioner in the room, the staff provided floor-standing fans to cool things down which was more than I heard some other venues provided for their patrons during this time.

It is much quicker to walk down to the lake than to walk back up again owing to the very steep gradient. Quite tiring in a heat wave. Not a problem for us, but could be for some!

Beautiful location with a wide-angle view of the lake. Our room was spacious with a large terrace (which got very hot in late afternoon), though other rooms might be smaller. Nice swimming pool you could actually swim in. Good breakfast outside on the terrace (appreciated by the resident wasps as well). Only a few minutes walk downhill into town. The owners gave us a friendly welcome (at the same time warning us not to bring any food or drink into the hotel), and gave us good advice on the local restaurants (we would particularly recommend L'Amphore on rue Bugnet). We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay and will definitely return if we are in the vicinity again.

the property looked lovely, especially the well manicured lawn and pool area. The restaurant was welcoming and loved all the wood. The breakfast was wonderful … so much choice. our hosts were very friendly and made good recommendations where to eat out and where to visit within an hours drive etc. Would love to stay again and bring swimming stuff next time! we were not expecting the weather to be so hot!!
