there are lots of outdoor activities available at the resort which is located in lovely forested area. A great place for a summer vacation with children.

SwitzerlandWe booked the hotel as we came for a wedding which was close by. Upon arrival only one of the two rooms was ready and we were told that we would receive the second room soon..Although the official time for receiving the room was 15:00 we only got the second room around 16:20.. when our event was about to start. If it would have been half an hour later after 15:00 it would have been ok..the entire purpose of choosing this hotel was because it was convenient being close to the wedding location. Receiving the room that late without doing any additional effort is simply not acceptable…in addition to that on the way back from the event we forgot the key for the second room. The receptionist gave a second key for a room which was already in use..Considering the price and the location the hotel was rather on the expensive side and when it comes to handling the above mentioned matters it is simply unprofessional and disappointing.

IrelandEV car charging did not work after wasting an hour trying to get it working. We depend on hotels to do an overnight charge to 100% ready for the next leg of our road trip. We chose this hotel because it claimed to have EV charging facilities. This cost us over an hour the next day on our drive to the ferry.

The rooms are average, the restaurant is good but certainly not good enough for the amounts charged, and the breakfast service is completely overwhelmed by the number of guests. Hotel guests must pay 39€ apiece to access the spa, which again is nice, but not nice enough to merit that kind of price. As a finishing touch, when we pointed out at checkout that there was a recurrent unpleasant smell in the bathroom, we were told “yes we know about that, but it’s not our responsibility”.

Arrived at 22.06, according website restaurant open till 22.30. Restaurant closed... asked 2 times, it was a no. Was send to the bar.. nothing too eat. I choose for Mercure, for the normal good service.. this place was not like normal Mercure... outdated.. Room was outdated, bed was ok. Shower made for people max 1.70. Parking places for electrical cars were occupied by old gazole cars.. also complained at arrival about that... no help at all... Waist of money..

BelgiumThe hotel is old and very poorly managed. You can definitely tell it used to be worth it's four stars, but that's no longer the case. It desperately needs a renovation and a waaay better management. The room smelled horribly of cigarettes, the carpet was sticky. There was a dog in one of the neighboring rooms, constantly barking. Everywhere you looked, inside or out, there were signs of decay. Paint on the walls was peeling off, furniture was past its life time. We ordered drinks in the bar and had to wait over 45 minutes, while there were only two other tables. Both white wine and sparkling wine were not served cool. Apart from one or two exceptions, the staff was clumsy, unexperienced and frankly not very friendly. They clearly missed proper training and management. All of this is too bad, because the hotel has so much potential...
The activity park was super fun. The hotel reception with family games and play room is really fun for kids. Beautiful garden!

United KingdomThe layout of furniture and the dining facilities .Breakfast was poor and dining furniture uncomfortably low. Some people were clearly having trouble sitting so low. Although the staff were friendly they were too casual and lacked professionalism considering we are in a pandemic. In the past it has been an exceptionally nice place to stay.
