There were no curtains in the window and the room is overlooked, so those opposite can see everything. The door was partially smashed like someone had tried to break in and it was not possible to put on the deadlock on as a result of this - it didn’t seem very secure. Most of the lights didn’t work so the room was very dark.

the room was too small for 3 people. the window could not be opened, so the air was very heavy. The bathroom was very very very very small but the room and bathroom were clean.

Not really enough hanging space or drawer space. A little more room for clothes and shoes would be good, and maybe some hooks on the wall for coats and jackets.

Breakfast was was quite nice - mainly pastries and bread e.g. Croissants, toast, brioche, plain cake, warm drinks machine and fruit juice. The reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Bathroom was extremely small - plastic thing, like a caravan would have. Shower space was very very tight. Breakfast was a bit skimpy on choice, and often lowly stocked / slow to re-stock as the morning progressed. Elevators were old and felt unsafe, actually one failed during our stay, luckily we were not in it at the time, but I had just commented on them that morning saying I thought they were dodgy!

It is very noisy, not necessarily from the street bu the walls are very thin, felt like I was sleeping in the same room with other people hearing their snoring, caughing, chatting, music etc. Doors are banging all the time, noises from both the rooms and corridor. I slept 2 hours at the beginning of the night, and 1 more when everyone thankfully left around 8-9 am, couldn't stay one more night. In my room old cigarette burns were both in the bathroom and the floor. Bathroom very tiny and plastic, it gives a very poor and depressing feeling. The price does not reflect the quality.

Both evening and daytime receptionist were nice, helped to reduce my booking from 2 days to 1 day and issued a refund for it (hope to get that soon). I really needed to crash somewhere as my previous accommodation was cancelled last minute and it is very close to the airport if someone needs that, but the things to do are on the other side of the Promenade. Bed was comfy and clean.

The bathroom door couldn't close. There was no hairdryer in the room, even though it said that every room has one. It was very noisy early in the morning; I'm not sure if it was other guests or the cleaning lady.
