To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

ItalyThe pictures of the room showed it was with a room with sea view, but it wasn’t. We left the luggage in the room before the time of check-in while they were cleaning it, and they left the keys in the lock outside, so it wasn’t very safe, considering that our room was the first thing you see when you enter the property. The staff wasn’t very welcoming and when paying by credit card the traveller tax, without telling me she added a commission.

Germanyour room (although advertised) had no view or access to beach front so in essence too expensive. no toiletries, a bit untidy (floor was dirty so for crawling and toddlers no good) for €200 a night for a room with 1,5 beds that basically sits to the road has no access to beach/ nor view ( we were i. rear room) or a view nor toiletries is ok as base but not value for money.

DenmarkWe stayed in a family room with two bathrooms, There were no doors to the bathrooms and the family room/appartment was a bit dark and only had a view to a smaller yard where you could sit.
We had a nice welcome by the owners and they had made an extra bed. The closest beach is only 80 meters away, which is great. 500 meters away there is a café/restaurant, but a car is recommended to get around.

CanadaStella Maris is a bit far from anything other than the lovely, quiet beach. Would be challenging to get to town for food etc. without a vehicle.
The view and quiet beach were a slice of heaven. The owners were lovely people. VERY helpful. They even helped me fix my shoe when the sole fell off! You truly can't beat the porch view!

Amazing SEA SIDE VILLA with VIEUW and ENTRANCE to the BEACH.. Very friendly Landlord and Landlady.. I even went WALKIES with their dog.. So felt at home immediately.. Also very close to shops (I had a car though) and walking distance of cute BEACH RESTAURANTS.. AMAZING.. Really WAUUWWW !!

The owners had run large dogs without a muzzle and cats. The internet only worked at the reception where the dogs and cats were. But the beaches around are fantastic
