This was our second stay at Villa Mitsou and we enjoyed our stay there just as much as the first time. We were made to feel very welcome. Grand room with very comfortable bed in old town house minutes away from the centre of the town. Fabulous breakfast with homemade apricot cake and jam.

Villa Mitsou is a beautiful hotel in a great location in Mille. Room was lovely, breakfast was delicious and the host was exceptional. If you visit Melle this is the perfect place to stay!

Nothing to dislike, all beautiful and we would return again.

Villa Mitsou certainly had the 'wow' factor. Hidden behind the green wrought iron front gate was an amazing period property complete with decor to match. We stayed in room 1 which was adorned with classic furniture, fireplace, exposed varnished floorboards, and almost full height shuttered windows overlooking a lovely enclosed flower garden. We had our own walk-in private bathroom, amazing! Breakfast was served by our host Cecile who had taken the time to bake a lovely cake to accompany the traditional French breakfast, and you guessed it, magnificent food 😋. Would we recommend it, without doubt the best accommodation of our week-long motorcycle tour around the French northwestern regions.

A wonderfully peaceful villa with exquisite decor and spacious, spotlessly clean rooms, beautifully presented. The breakfast room is equally delightful, as is the garden. The bed was comfortable with linen of high quality and the shower was excellent. Parking is nearby and the breakfast on offer was copious and delicious. The welcoming owner, Cecile, has thought of everything. I could have stayed a lot longer here. Very highly recommended.

Having to leave!

It was lovely to stay in a very beautiful Villa, full of character and with such a welcoming host in Cecile. The breakfast was delicious and we would have needed to stay all day to eat everything on offer.

For us, we could not fault our stay.

Traditional French property which has been sympathetically renovated. The interior decor is excellent and the room we slept in was beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable with very nice bed linen. The shower was excellent.

We had visited the town before and liked it but not stayed overnight. The house location was very convenient with nearly parking. The rooms are thoughtfully fitted and decorated. Our ring has come out as 9 not 10 only because we were shown a lovelier room! The owner Cecile was charming and helpful, as was her mother Colette, who gave us our really excellent breakfast starring her own lovely jam. We'd like to return and stay longer another time. The breakfast was excellent, most especially the homemade almond cake and jams. Splendid décor, both in the bedroom and in the dining room. We were made to feel most welcome. Parking too was easy and Villa Mitsou is within 2 minutes walk of the centre of Melle. Perfect!

Beautifully decorated interior, lovely exceptionally clean room. I would gladly recommend to anyone travelling to or through Melle. Oh and a wonderfully presented breakfast. The host was extremely pleasant and nothing would've been too much trouble.

Nothing negative. When the property has been open longer, it will probably feel a little more homely, for now everything is new. But the proprietor certainly makes you feel at home.

The property is right in the centre of Melle, close to restaurants and bars. There is parking right opposite. They have only been open since July so everything is perfectly clean, fresh and balanced. The owner has exquisite taste and the overall impression is one of peace and comfort. Lovely fresh baguette at breakfast, too!
