Would be good to have a blind in the bathroom. But that's just my personal opinion.

I arrived early on bank holiday Monday and was able to get a parking pass a few hours before I checked in. Staff were helpful and checking in was quick and easy. Bed was really comfy and had all the basic facilities that I needed. Really enjoyed Tewkesbury and would definitely stay here again

Some areas of the hotel are a little tired, but this didn't spoil the stay.

Location is great, with free parking. The breakfast is excellent with a very good choice. For a single room (no. 17), it was very spacious albeit a little basic.

My window opened onto internal roofs so no view and upstairs corridors a bit old fashioned but I rather liked that - it's an old building. I would like better coffee with breakfast and a big jug of hot milk with it but otherwise all good!

Very welcoming on arrival and good to have free car parking. Great location opposite the Abbey and I loved hearing bellringing on Thursday evening. Room had everything it needed including ironing board and iron. Nice touch. Breakfast was good and very generous.

One slight niggle - the sink tap in the ensuite was loose which made it a little difficult to use.

The initial welcome from the young man on reception was excellent. The room was spacious and no traffic noise. Bar staff were good and evening meal and breakfast were good value for money. The location opposite the Abbey was a bonus.

The only downside was the fact that the windows were restricted so wouldn't open fully which made the room very warm. I do understand why they are restricted and it wasn't the hotels fault that we picked a period of exceptionally hot weather!

The location was very good for us, the food was excellent and the staff were all very helpful.

Not having a walk in shower. However, we were already aware of this. Would like to see walk in showers if the bathrooms are refurbished.

    As above!

Breakfasts are always very good, fresh, and good choices. Cheers to the lady that runs it! Beds and all linen clean and very comfy. Room is a little tired in decor but perfectly serviceable for our nights stay. (Rm 24 tv aerial connector needs attention btw) Parking was a little tight atm due to 'works' unfortunately, but we managed.

Bar staff are in need of a bit more direction. A particular wine on offer in the happy hour wasn't available but an appropriate substitute wasn't offered. The bar was left unattended whilst customers were waiting to be served. The flooring in the bathroom squeaked badly and we weren't sure whether this would be a bother for the room downstairs. Rather dark in the bathroom as a bulb had gone. Not sure how long it had needed changing?

The breakfasts were plentiful and generally well cooked and presented. The location of the hotel is excellent for walking into town. The provision of a fan in the bedroom was very welcome.

Nothing really. The room was petite but absolutely fine for my needs, and what you’d expect in a very old period property The bathroom was a bit dated but everything worked perfectly and the price was such good value it didn’t matter to me.

Terrific locating across from the Abbey, and part of the inn is really really old. Really friendly staff, good food, good breakfast. I was in a room in the old part this time ( I’ve stayed before) and I had a lovely view of some little period houses through quaint leaded windows.

Guess a typical old pub. A little tired. No fault of the staff, a lot of traffic noise and the abbey clock which chimes all night.Just not used to night noise., something to be aware of.

Staff friendly particularly the breakfast lady.Nice breakfast good choices, special mention for the pastries! Good parking and excellent location
