Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IsraelCheck-in was a bit spotty: I had asked for early check-in and was told there would be no problem, but that didn't work out as planned. Still, did get a room a little early. The shower seemed a little low quality difficult to get the water temperature to stay the same & a shower head holder was broken.
Location is good, near the shops, bus stops nearby and a tube station minutes away. My room was a bit cramped (although OK by London standards I guess). Quite clean, heating was fine, had some storage space, lighting OK. Nice big windows (street level). Medium sized flat-screen on the wall, and wifi worked fine. Bed was quite comfortable. Breakfast was varied and not bad at all. Overall - good VFM - reasonable price for a decent hotel with easy access to central London.

United KingdomThe first thing was as you entered the room was the smell, it was like if someone had been smoking in the room The bathroom was clean but very old fixtures which were covered in rust. Beds had no headboards,(which was not a problem)the walls were dirty directly were your pillows were, The carpet was the main thing it was not only dirty but sticky, you couldn't walk on it bare feet, without been sick.,we had stayed at this hotel well over 10 times in the last 5/7 years in all the different rooms and all my family and friends stay there too every time they are in London, but this time we were let down very badly. Hotel needs to spend time and effort on updating the suite we stayed in. Overall the hotel is a decent hotel, To hotel management, Please don't take this as a bad review but as a feedback back. Probably will stay again if things are improved or given another room.
Location was ideal as we needed to be In the centre.

IrelandThe WiFi was not working properly and even after repeated complains it was not fixed. Even the intercoms were not working and so for communicating to other room and reception was difficult at times. This should be improved.
The hotel was cozy and very close to metro station. Bed was comfy and overall nice stay.

Germanythe first room we were offered was horrible, the floor and the bathroom were dirty. the door seemed to have been cracked before and from the street you entered directly into the room. with 3 teenage girls we didn't want to spend there one night. the other room we had was very very tiny and from the bathroom came a strong chloride smell - almost like in a not clean swimming pool. we all know what that that means.... the breakfast was okay but could have been better especially the eggs. the breakfast bag we got for the leaving day due to a very early flight was an unreasonable demand. we would not come back again.
the staff was friendly, especially Petra was very caring. She organised a room change and clarified other issues we were not content about. also the short way to the Ilford station (Elizabeth line) was an advantage.

United KingdomThere were people shouting at 12am in the corridor which was outside like a row of flats and this woke me up. The room I stayed in was slightly cold and the door was a bit dodgy and made me feel slightly unsafe. The room was basic cleaned but could’ve been better and the decor is slightly outdated, some things need repairing. However, it was cheap and would be good for a one night stay.
The staff were friendly and helpful, especially one lady on the reception desk she was lovely. The bed was comfortable and I slept ok, cant really complain for the price. It was close to Ilford station and easy to get the Elizabeth line into central london quickly.

GermanyOur room looked as if it had not been cleaned (their was a towel on the ground and the soap holder wasn't clean). The staff was very nice. They ensured us the room had been cleaned but gave us a new room anyways. The rooms are very(!) small and the furniture and installations are old and worn down. Not enough value for the money - even in bad economy.
The location was quite good - close to the subway. The best was the staff who did everything in their power to make the stay as pleasent as possible. The breakfast was very authentic and hearty and there was something for everyone.
