Overall size of property 170 is a little bit too tight inside when 4 people are moving around; if you are 3 or less people, then would-be much better.

The property is well equipped with everything you may need during your stay: fridge, microwave, toaster, cooker, utensils. Good shower/bathroom; good quality WiFi; comfy beds. Great location and a fabulous, well maintained back yard area for enjoying your time sitting outside.

As a family of four we used the sleeping sofa for two nights. In the long run, this arrangement would have been too crowded or rather too small. But that's the only wee negative point.

Our apartment was very well equipped, very clean and nicely decorated. We felt at home instantly. Taking the train from the nearby Falkirk Grahamston station to Edinburgh has been very easy. We bought the tickets not online but in advance at the station and could take our kids with us for only 1 £ each. Our Scottish friends were asking why we'd stay in Falkirk. But this accommodation has made it worthwhile. Close to supermarkets, great appliances and last but not least a great selection of tea.

Only complaint we had was the bed settee, my son said it was not comfortable to sleep and we did not have fresh linen available on arrival. this was dealt with. The bed settee when used as a sofa during the day was not comfy either as the seating part moved about when seated.

Apartment was well located opposite the park and few minutes drive from the retail park. Lovely communal garden to rear. Clean with all necessary equipment and tastefully furnished. Car parking outside to front on road.

The lip on the steps into the apartment was dangerous. It was difficult accessing the dryer due to the stuff in the alcove.

The apartment was lovely. It had everything we needed except a blow dryer. We were very comfortable, and it felt homey.

The mattress was way softer than ours at home to the point we were sinking in towards each other but this is a personal preference so it would be unfair to mark the property down for this.

The apartment was beautiful inside finished to a very high standard and spotlessly clean with all the small touches considered.

The location is excellent. There's lots to do in Falkirk. You can also find everything you need within a 5 minute drive: shopping, dining and a railwaystation. It's also a quiet little town with friendly people. The apartment itself is small but very comfortable. We slept well, the kitchen is well equipped and the garden is absolutely fabulous! We hope to be back soon!

We recently stayed at the Carmel apartments. We stayed the first night in the Studio Deluxe apartment. On arrival I was worried as it looked like we had arrived at a garden shed, but once inside it was perfect, there was everything you needed for an overnight stay, comfy bed and bedding, a little kitchenette area with a combi microwave, bathroom with toilet and shower, I did find the bathroom sink a little awkward, it was over the toilet and with short arms brushing my teeth was a little difficult. I would be happy to spend a night there again. The next day we transferred to the main apartments, we were in 172 which was absolutely beautiful and perfect in every way. We spent 3 nights here and it was almost a shame to have to leave. The large bed was very comfortable, a three seater sofa in the lounge meant we could relax when in the apartment. The kitchen area had everything you could possibly need (although we did need a pair of scissors one day and couldn’t find any but that’s not to say they were not there somewhere, so many cupboards and drawers with lots of little extras in. A good sized fridge freezer, oven, microwave etc, even a coffee machine with coffee pods included. There were plenty of plug sockets around the apartment. The Wi-Fi was very good in both accommodations, as was the tv’s. The curtains were completely blackout and very heavy and luxurious which meant no light or noise from outside once drawn, making for a good nights sleep. Our friends stayed in apartment 170 right next door to us and their apartment was just as beautiful, slightly different layout and decoration but the same high quality and standard. Both 170 and 172 are first floor apartments with a view across the park, however they are up a stone staircase, not a problem for us but for someone with mobility issues maybe a ground floor apartment would be better suited. All the apartments were exceptionally clean, lighting was good and they were warm with great heating.

It was lovely and clean, beautiful apartment. Exceeded expectations. Brilliant parking facilities and easy to find. Really helpful guides sent via the host on finding the property, how to get in, and how to use everything. Brilliant kitchen set up with everything you could possibly need; with the little extra touch of tea, coffee and biscuits. Lovely bathroom, with essential shower products provided. Private garden area, felt very safe and secure. Lovely, friendly and polite cleaning staff when leaving.

It was very luxurious and clean, with modern stylish decor, the seats and beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with useful accessories. It felt like everything had been thought of, and was a home away from home. The garden was also well furnished with seats and ornaments, a great place to spend time.

Unfortunately we had boiler problems and ended up boiling kettles and pans of water to share an inch of bathwater on the last day. Maintenance were there to fix as we left. Were stand alone radiators in a few rooms so we weren't cold. Lovely thick quilts kept us warm in bed. Minor hiccup, which hopefully isn't a regular problem.

The apartments were absolutely gorgeous, decorated beautifully. Great location for exploring Falkirk (Kelpies, wheel, Callendar House) handy retail park just behind. Then onward to Edinburgh.

A little bit noisy with traffic passing by if your not used to this. Being small found it difficult getting access to mirror for drying hair. But this didn’t spoil break at all.

I would recommend a drainer for the kitchen, as it was difficult to wash and dry cups etc without making an area wet.

Spacious apartment extremely comfortable. Plenty of storage in bedroom with luxurious bed. Good size bathroom with walk in shower. Lounge /dinning room with the largest tv I've ever seen. Kitchen compact with everything you need, plus laundry room. We loved the clever heating system which gave 2hrs of heating at a time, so no waste of energy. The chocolates on the pillows was a wonderful surprise plus biscuits with the coffee machine. Thank you.

The apartment we chose suited our purpose well enough, but it was a little cramped for our little family of (2 adults, 1 child). It would have probably been more suitable for 2 people. So might be worth checking you book an apartment with sofa bed for 3 or more people.

The place was exceptionally clean. The courtyard garden setting is beautiful. It was an added bonus to have complimentary toiletries. Check out is comparatively late with added bonus to opt in for early/late check out for additional charge.

A few of the blinds would not close properly as the blind cords were worn and not working properly.

Very clean , warm and comfortable. Kids loved the TV screen in the bedframe . Kids enjoyed the garden courtyard space .
