Beautiful hotel in centre of town

Parking is very tight if you have a larger car! Breakfast room could do with some blinds as very hot and sunny. Staff could be a little bit more attentive especially at breakfast and were unsure of some of the breakfast items - but this would not put us off from visiting again

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff and outside area overlooking the moat. Easy access to the town centre. Large room with complimentary nibbles.

    Nothing really.

The hotel is beautifully located near the Cathedral and next to the river, which the garden overlooks. Ideal for a pre dinner drink watching the ducks. Our room was large and very well equipped with comfortable bed and excellent bath/shower room. Breakfast was very good with a wide choice and while there are no evening meals, a host of restaurants are within an easy walk. The staff were all helpful and friendly. It really is a lovely place to stay.

Nothing . It was fabulous .

Splotlessly clean , beautiful decor and helpful staff . Car park covered by CCTV and location of hotel means ease of access to all parts of the city on foot .

My bed was two singles combined so I could notice the join, but that’s really a minor detail!

The room looked good from the the pictures but my suite was so much better than I imagined! Plenty of space, huge bathroom, complementary drinks and snacks. Absolutely brilliant stay, amazing value for money.

Provision of evening meal. We actually enjoyed going out to other restaurants but it would have been an unpleasant experience to have to do that in the rain. Fortunately, the weather was fine.

    Nothing to dislike

We had a wonderful dual aspect room overlooking the old moat on two sides. Very comfortable bed. Great hot water for shower/bath. Lovely thick towels. The seating area was very comfortable and desk useful. I was visiting the Cathedral and it was just 2 minutes walk away. Perfect position. The hotel also had parking, which is important these days. Thank you to all the staff

Nothing - the beds are very firm which is simply a personal preference but probably suit most people so as can’t complain.

Parking a bit hard to find. It is 30mtrs before you get to the motel, between 2 tall grey pillars, down a laneway. Not clearly marked.

Lovely room with a small sitting area and beautiful bathroom. Breakfast good. Great location near the river and cathedral. Welcoming sherry! Free parking available on first come basis.

There was nothing about this hotel that I disliked it was a fabulous place to stay, and I highly recommend it

The hotel is in an excellent location within minutes of the river wye, city centre shops, and right next door to the cathedral. The hotel is warm and inviting with lots of original features. The bedroom was very roomy with lots of nice added touches such as bathrobes, room safe and a nice basket of local products. The staff were very helpful, and breakfast was plentiful and served in a lovely conservatory over looking the old castle moat
