Food is always something to look forward to but the menu does seem to have shrunk a little. The specials were great, two out of four of us had those but the starters were a little disappointing this time however overall a nice dining experience. Breakfast has also shrunk in terms of portion size and there was a missing item which could have been substituted with more of something else but the option wasn't offered. Again, overall nice quality food in a comfortable setting

My recent two-night stay at Crown Inn Marston Montgomery was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for the entire experience. Accommodation: We were assigned the Western and Butler rooms, both of which exceeded our expectations in terms of cleanliness, comfort, and amenities. The attention to detail in maintaining these rooms was evident, and every aspect contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The bathrooms were particularly impressive, equipped with modern fixtures and impeccably clean. Breakfast: Each morning, we indulged in the delicious breakfast offerings, and I must say, the scrambled eggs and bacon were a standout! Poor service on the evening and not alot of selection left available on the menu considering we booked early evening!

The room was very comfortable and the bed was very comfy. Breakfast and breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was 10 out of 10. Dinner was poor! We booked a table for 6 for the evening, several of our table couldn't have what they wanted as nothing was available, one member of our group was Gluten free and the only thing available was a salad! We chose of the Specials Board in the entrance, only to be told that they'd forgotten to wipe them out and they weren't available and the table service was quite poor!.

Not enough toiletries for 2 people for 2 nights, one small bottle only. Shower tray didn't drain and had to stop shower before it overflowed. Evening meal only one vegetarian/vegan option and menu was the same both nights.

It was spotlessly clean. The bed was really comfortable with lovely bed linen. Great breakfast with vegetarian and vegan options. Lovely staff who couldn't do enough for you.

The food was freshly cooked from great ingredients and was amazing. The eggs Benedict I chose for breakfast was the best I’ve had in awhile. From the moment we arrived we received a really friendly welcome. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. There was an amazing selection of drinks and biscuits in our room and a water cooler close by in the corridor. The food and service was first class. Nicki and Gem were great and couldn’t have been more helpful. We highly recommend The Crown Inn.
