Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

We loved our stay at Dorian House. The property is immaculate and the staff were fantastic. The breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. The property is located only a 15 minute walk from the city and the staff supplied us with a map and recommendations of where to eat and drink. Our room was on the top floor and was very well presented and so quiet and had all the things we needed for a lovely weekend.

Did not have a desk and maybe for the price we would expected more space and bigger wardrobe. But I will probably stay in the same place if I have to come back to Bath

Nothing ..
Easy walk from Bath Spa Station although is slightly uphill with luggage!. Our room was amazing as we were upgraded and had a roof room with city views. Breakfast was delicious, we both enjoyed it and were very impressed. Staff very helpful and lovely. Would recommend and would stay again.

All lovely!
The staff were amazingly friendly and very accommodating. We enjoyed the breakfast selection. The room was clean and tidy, with excellent facilities. The bathroom was lovely and fantastic location. Free parking was greatly appreciated

There was a constant creaking noise in the night coming from the pipes or something that disrupted my sleep.

A beautiful building with very elegant rooms and foyer. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and ours had a lovely view of Bath. We walked into the city easily and enjoyed all Bath has to offer. We were greeted by a very helpful man who even gave us a list of local restaurant suggestions. We tried two of them and they were good choices.

I would have loved to join for breakfast however unfortunately AUD $40 for 1 breakfast was a bit out of my budget.

Room was very small. Wardrobe irritatingly creaky and curtains didn't close properly. Room was also a little chilly.
Friendly staff and some nice finishing touches to lounge and in room. Homely feel. Very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast.

Shower was under the stairs due to the nature of the room being basement, was a tiny shower but was serviceable.
The location of the property was great, easy to walk into town and a short taxi back late at night. We were in a room that was in the basement but had a ground level window so it was nice. For what we paid the room was really good!

The heating wouldn't turn off, so it was too hot which made for a restless nights sleep and they couldn't offer us a lighter quilt. Window wouldn't stay open unless wedged.
Staff were excellent, location excellent, room was lovely.
