Everything was fantastic Hosts amazing. All staff are very friendly. Breakfast was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks for the fan in the room. Beautiful gardens. Made to feel very welcome.

Room was a bit on the small side and the stairs steep, narrow and spiral. The staff help with the luggage so that is less of a problem.

Good shower with strong water pressure, comfortable bed, fabulous breakfast, friendly staff, amazing view and a beautiful property.

The house was excellent. Lovely decor with quality fittings. The view from the garden was beautiful. Very comfortable house. Simon was an amazing host and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The windows did not have a mosquito net, so we did not open them and were humid in the morning, but luckily no midges during our stay.

The place is amazing from the inside and outside as well. Library room and the bar is elegant and relaxing. Well equipped rooms. Breakfast is excellent, rooms are quiet. Garden is nice with an extraordinary view on Kerrera Island from the bar room.

Everything was A1 from the start. Simon on arrival was a very friendly, and informative host. The location was superb, 10 mins into town. The guest lounge/bar area was a quiet peaceful setting to enjoy after a days walking with great sunsets. the breakfast were perfect, and our last day with an early departure for the ferry, Simon organised a packed lunch replacement for missed breakfast. Will be back.

The hotel is situated close to oban about 10-15 minute walk, it has spectacular views. The hosts Simon and Kirsty and staff are amazing. The rooms are lovely and done to a very high standard. Breakfasts are delicious with loads of options to choose from catering for all tastes. And the whiskey bar... You won't be disappointed! We had a fabulous time here and will definitely be coming back!

Best room, best bed, best breakfast, best selection of whiskey, best staff. We spent the last 2 weeks in Scotland staying in 3 castles, 2 manor houses, and 2 B&Bs. This was the best, no contest. Simon and Kirsty were the best hosts and the entire staff was perfect.

Everything. From the moment we arrived and we’re welcomed by Simon we relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. Everything about the place is carefully thought of to ensure the guests have a perfect experience. The thoughtful inclusions of pots of tea with biscuits , the bowls of chocolates the well appointed rooms and the delicious breakfast and of course the helpful advice about the town. I couldn’t fault it.

My husband and I came for our anniversary. Our overall experience was spectacular, from the moment we checked in we felt right at home! We very much enjoyed hanging in the library for afternoon tea and an evening drink in the whiskey bar after coming back from dinner. The sunset views were amazing! The staff at breakfast was so friendly and shared recommendations for us during the day. The fresh salmon for breakfast was delicious! The managers were amazing, with a smooth check-in and answered all of our questions but also great to talk to while enjoying a drink at the whiskey bar. We truly never wanted to leave and look forward to coming back for another trip!

Everything was perfect. The only thing is that you have to go in town for dinner but it’s very closeby so no problem at all and afterwards you can have a drink in the bar of the hotel witch is a great place to finish the day👍

Everything in the Dungallan Country house was excellent: the location, the rooms, the beds, the breakfast, the bar and of course the personal. It is af if Simon, Kristy and Kim (and some others we did not see) were born for this job. We felt very welcome. The interior architecture is fantastic, bot from materials as combination of colors. This was a very comfortable and relaxing environment. If we come in the neighbourhood, we will book here again for sure.
