The pool is not very large and gets a bit crowded if there are like 6 swimmers in it at the same time.

Very nice food and friendly staff. Breakfast also very nice.

The older rooms were a little dated but clean. The 4 poster bed in our room was rather small, but the room was very spacious indeed.

The staff were absolutely amazing. They could not have done more. The bar was well stocked. The restaurant area was very comfortable and spacious. Food was delicious but slightly on the expensive side - but actually - for a treat - it was worth it.

Our room cost £179 which is quite expensive as breakfast wasn’t included however it was part of our honeymoon so we booked a garden patio room , a little tired in decor toilet seat wonky and a chipped tea cup also shower not brilliant so we had baths as plumbing often a problem in older properties but felt that the other issues were just lazy and should be addressed we were offered a suite at no extra cost but we were only there a short time so didn’t want to upheave

Great location spa facilities were good and our meal both breakfast and evening meal very good and the restaurant and lounge areas were very spacious and light, the staff were very helpful and very pleasant

wasn't a fan of the fixed "rain head" shower but I had baths instead so that was fine.

The restaurant was a bit of a letdown. We had dinner but we got a piece of plastic in one meal. They did redeem us for the meal in this case. There was a good range of food for breakfast, but the eggs were all cooled slightly differently, runny to hard boil.

The spa was lovely. We had a back massage, facial and full body. The rooms were super clean

Food was hugely overpriced for what you got, even the drinks were too. Bathroom decor didn’t match room decor, and no door in the room closed properly including door to room. Heard everyone outside room due to really creaky floorboards and shower not the most comfortable.

The facilities (pool and sauna) were lovely, gym could have more options. Overall the facilities made the trip as we came to relax.

A little jaded & some areas could do with a spot of redecoration. Not enough wall sockets to support modern electronic equipment. Our room had only one spare socket for charging iPads & phones

Front steps were high with no hand rails and cracked.

The hotel staff were friendly and polite, always had a smile. The location is excellent for Rye, the coast and countryside. The spa facilities were clean and well attended with a lovely pool and hot tub.

Only one thing was that the radiators in our room and bathroom didn’t work. We had an electric heater, but a radiator would have been better as we needed to dry out our wet clothes. Having said this, the staff were so accommodating and tumble dried our items, which was very much appreciated.

Lovely country style house with a cosy feel and a warm, friendly welcome. Staff were helpful and the food was really good, plenty of choice, tasty and great portion sizes.

The rooms are really spacious and clean. Position is great if you are with a car as it is really close to Rye, while being in a very quiet area. Spa facilities are good considering the night rate of the hotel.
