The music playing in the public areas was too loud for my liking and too modern. Music at breakfast was nice.

It’s quirky. The grounds were very nicely landscaped. Views were fabulous. Great spa and outdoor pool was surprisingly warm. Free pic n mix and coffee station. Liked the bear theme

The hotel is located in a beautiful estate. It has spacious gardens where you can sit and enjoy the tranquility. Our unit was well-sized and included two rooms which enabled us to stay together as a family while it didn’t feel crowded. The rooms were very clean, the beds are very comfortable. There were complementary tea, coffee and even yummy brownies! The heated pool is lovely as is the jacuzzi and they are open 12 hours which gives you lots of flexibility in terms of when you want to use them. The staff is friendly, welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast is delicious with lots of choice. We also booked dinner at the Olio restaurant which was delicious. The dining conservatory is gorgeous, overlooking the estate and surrounded by beautiful plants. We also did lovely walks, departing from the hotel by foot - highly recommended! (there’s a helpful booklet in the room with a map and suggested local walks).

Just a bit expensive for me but that just could be because of my budget! Also hard to do anything around it if you don't have a car.

Cherry the receptionist, who was endlessly cheerful and helpful and even carried our cases up to our bedroom. The spa is lovely, though the sauna could be a bit hotter. The breakfast is just amazing. And far too much for a mere mortal. I really wish we could have stayed longer.

Loved the room and facilities although was raining and children can’t go in indoor pool but we made the most of it unfortunately had to leave in middle of night due to death of my mother so only actually spent 6 hours there

On our previous visit, the hotel had complimentary crisps and karma cola drinks. That was a nice touch and something we thought would be there. They no longer do these which was a shame.

The staff were really friendly & helpful, we were shown around upon arrival and our room was ready early! The room was beautiful, clean and had everything you could possibly need (including Smeg kettle & coffee machine). There were brownies in our room upon arrival which was a lovely gesture too! Bed was seriously comfy, we both had great nights sleep. The spa facilities are on the smaller side to some others we’ve been to but still perfectly useful with everything you could need: outdoor jacuzzi, outdoor swimming pool, indoor hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room & plenty of seating indoors/outdoor. The spa is also really well kept, tidy & clean. It is about 15 mins away from Bath so we tied our stay in with visiting Bath for the first time. There is also car parking which was great. An all round lovely experience, we couldn’t fault it!

it stated that they offered streaming services (netflix etc) but the one in our room only had the usual tv channels, large amounts of dust on the light behind the bed

everyone was very easy to speak to, the property itself was super well organised and i loved how it isn’t all in one building but separate little ones. the spa area is super well organised and so good looking

The dinner & drinks menu felt slightly pricey.

We felt the lady at reception gave us a very warm welcome and showed us around the hotel & spa, small things go a long way. check in was very simple, our room was stunning and the swimming pool and other facilities were fantastic. I was very surprised to see that dark chocolate brownies were provided in our room, that was a lovely treat and they were yummy! the food at dinner was also fantastic. we would love to come back again soon.
