I returned late and without my glasses and couldn't read the keypad entry lock. A light shining on the lock would help and prevent people like me having to wake up the owner to gain entry.. (sorry!!)

The room size was very good and with doors onto a patio area it had a lovely spacious feel.

The whole place looked tired inside and out and in need of renovation. Breakfast was delivered in a bag and left at the door - something I was only made aware of after I booked.

The bed was comfortable and it was close to Hereford centre.

Other noisey guests at 6am slamming reception door, cleaner on departure day crashing and banging around at 7am outside our room, Bearing in mind, check out is by 1030am, and check in is after 4pm, why are they cleaning at 7am Cannot comment on staff as never saw anyone

Trying to get into the property, had to ring 3 times at door to get codes. Dirty cups left for tea and coffee from previous customer. Could not turn tv over unless you were really close to it. Would not work from the bed. Radiators loose on the wall in bathroom.

Unfortunately my son burnt his l gs in shower as cold water suddenly stopped. It took a few days for hun not to be in pain.

The hotel badly needs refurbishment. With signs of mould in the bathroom and loose tiles. The hot, electric towel rail was hanging on the wall by one loose screw. On reaching the main door, a notice told us to call an external number. We were given a pin number to enter. In the reception, we were told which key safe to open, with another pin number. Whilst still on the phone, we were guided through a door and passage way to our room. A four-poster bed and one bedside light do not make a superior room.

The breakfast bag was delivered to our door with a variety of good food and drink.

We were only staying overnight because we were traveling out the next day and the bagged breakfast was perfect - we could eat it on the go!

THE WHOLE PLACE IS UNKEMPT AND TIRED. NEEDS A GOOD MAINTAINANCE MAN TO ADDRESS FIXING THINGS. AND AGENERAL TIDY UP GARDENWISE WOULD NOT GO AMISS.

THE BREKFAST DELIVERED TO THE ROOM IN A CARRIER BAG WAS GREAT.

We had to wait for staff to answer the phone so we could get into reception. Then we had to wait yet again for staff to answer the phone regarding the code to access our room key. We were wet and cold. We needed a personnel touch.

The room, especially the carpet, was grubby. There was a seediness to the room. 4-poster bed pretentious as the rest of the room was bizarre. Only one window, in the bathroom, opened. Dustiness from heavy curtains and bedpreads etc. Very noisy from next room. No spoon for the tea/coffee etc. Breakfast was a plastic carrier left on the door handle containing various items but an absolute sugarfest. Awful.

The price was OK.

The fact that we were not informed that the mobile number was behind the notice on the front door, we were told to call the number provided i tried it 10 times until i found a resident around the back of the building who told me about the mobile number.

The shower fitting needed to be replaced. It was possible to shower, but it was a little complicated. The arrival arrangements were unusual, bordering on bizarre. We were ushered to our room by telephone conversation and there was no sign of any staff. The property was still observing Covid rules - masks in public areas. This made no sense. The decor was gloomy and slightly unsettling.

The room was clean, the four poster bed was comfortable. The breakfast was a packed breakfast which was good. The inclusion of a pack of sandwiches was unusual, but not without a certain je ne sais quoi. Parking was good and we were about a mile or two from the centre of Hereford.

As a family, we would have preferred to have been able to use the restaurant facilities for breakfast (even as self-catering)

The property was quite quirky and interesting. We were able to enjoy our stay with a large group of a family of 8. The staff were discreet and visible if you needed them.

The size of the bed was extremely small, however, my partner and I are a tall couple (5’9 and 6’3 both average build) so just something to bare in mind for tall people.

We arrived early for a wedding after a three hour car journey and wanted to get changed somewhere. My previous emails with the hotel had suggested we could arrive at any time and have access to the room using a key lock however when we arrived we were told the people hadn’t yet checked out of our room. The staff were very helpful and were able to give us a room however it was significantly smaller than what we had originally booked (the deluxe large room). My partner is 6’3 and I am 5’9 so as a tall couple we struggled to fit in the bed as it was about a 3/4 size bed enough to fit one person on. There was also only a bath and no shower. However the rest of the room and bathroom was very clean and lovely. The breakfast was also very thoughtful and appreciated. I appreciate that the staff were very accommodating in allowing us to change and giving us a room to get ready in however the room was very small and uncomfortable and not what I had originally booked or paid for. Perhaps if I’d known we would not have access to the room we would have got changed somewhere else and waited for our larger room to be available.
