Scrambled eggs really let the cooked breakfast down; would be good if these could be changed to fresh eggs. Limited parking if arriving late.

Glasses for water / toothbrush in the room, decor was dated. £330 for two rooms for two nights felt expensive for the actual experience

Although the room was clean on arrival the day we asked for housekeeping I wasn't impressed with whet they did. The cooked breakfast was good but always rather tepid rather than hot.

The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and a big shower. I liked the offer of non-slip mat or shower chair if they were required. Good choice of breakfast and pleasant helpful staff

The room was disappointing. The carpet was very shabby, the hangers were falling apart, there was a blue chair which was burnt, by an iron on the seat and back which did not look good. The curtain, which were black out, were not nice to look at and they did not pull back great. There were no glasses in the bathroom to put toothbrushes and use to rise your mouth out after brushing your teeth. The bed was ok but it could have been more comfortable. It had one layer of bedding to lie on and my husband had to lay on a quilt as well to get comfortable.

The view from the room was good we could see what was going on. Cannot comment on breakfast as we did not have any. The room itself could have been better.

Hotel looked tired. Decor and carpets etc etc but it wasn’t a holiday stay, so perfectly adequate.

The noise coming through the link door from the people and TV in the next room. Tiling to the bathroom floor was cracked and loose in odd places, several tiles missing from the wall under the sink leaving a hole! And tile joints dirty in many places. Our main concern thou was that we were told there was no guarantee of a car parking space, it's on a first come basis apparently - which isn't very reassuring when you are traveling a distance to get there like we were, and there really is nowhere adjacent to the hotel where you can park on street.

Greeted by polite friendly staff. Tea making facilities in the room. All laundry felt fresh and clean. Comfortable beds. Plenty of towels and toiletries in the bathroom, and a good pressure of hot water when showering. I was able to park our car safely in the well lit rear carpark.

Very nice welcome from the staff. Adequate and well appointed room which meant we were comfortable. THe location is great - only 5 minutes to get to the church which was the reason for us being there. We'll come again. My husband had breakfast while I was practising for a service and enjoyed it a lot.

No face cloths or shower gel accessible in the shower.

Although plenty of food it was a bit stewed and eggs not nice. Bread toasted was chewy. Cereal and coffee ok. Location was a bad choice for us as had to cross the very busy road. If driving not a problem but this was my error.

The strong traffic can be very audible in the rooms as the hotel is by a busy roundabout

I stayed here before so I knew what to expect. Very close to location I needed to get to and easy parking which was the main reason for the choice.

Lack of parking, the car park is very small for the size of the hotel. It's also not monitored/requiring registration. Meaning people use it when not staying there.

Great location to visit the town, mini bar with on tap beers was a nice touch. The staff were very welcoming. Free tea and coffee in the lounge was lovely. Lounge area and bar was very clean. Large rooms, basic but clean. Didn't have the breakfast, but the dining area was very busy and smelt lovely when we walked past.

The rooms were tired and although clean could have benefited from a makeover. The hotel was quite noisy which didn’t make for a good nights sleep.

The staff were amazing so friendly and helpful.the bar area was clean and always someone on duty, liked the free coffee and tea facilities . Value for money and in good location
