The pillows were like bricks, the option of only booking in after 3pm, but if you wanted to part with 10 pounds you could book in earlier, not worth it tbh.

The location was handy for the city centre, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and tidy.

The hotel lacked atmosphere as it was nearly empty particularly in the bar area. My room was cold although the staff supplied me with a heater as theur a/c is undergoing repairs which also acts as heating. The bathroom was like a plastic unit and was extremly hard to keep dry.

The staff were extremly friendly and helpfull. The location was good.

No bin in the actual room for tea tray rubbish as only one in the bathroom. No where to hang wet coats in the room seems poor!

Easy check in and parking sorted. Problem with Remote and they changed straight away no problem. Staff were friendly and breakfast was reasonable in a nice long time window. Great location to walk into town and some other places to visit and to bus to Birmingham.

The bed was a little hard for our liking, but could suit others fine.

The room was big. Staff were friendly. You could order food 24 hours as well as a bar.

The hotel is in short walk from the station but it’s down a quiet residential street and a subway which can be creepy at night. Not their fault really but it was my experience.

Good sized room with a decent shower room. The buffet breakfast was self serve and well managed. Short train ride from Birmingham NEC.

Smelly bathroom, think this is down to the style of the room with a pod to house shower sink and toilet. Smelt of drains. Parking signage needs to be clearer to hotel guest to highlight the need - not to use ring go app to pay the inflated parking fee but to pay at reception on arrival.

Ideal location for HMV Empire. Stayed in Coventry for 1 night to attend a music event

Let down by the breakfast. It was over £25 for two (!) and the cooked bits looked like they had been there since 7am (shrivelled sausages, rubber scrambled egg etc.) They had run out of bread so we had to ask for more (shades of Oliver Twist) and at about 9:45, after finally getting our toast, they took the dish of butter away before we had chance to use it and the staff disappeared! There were no yogurts or fruit other than apples. Compared to a Premier Inn brekkie, it was rubbish, and I wish we'd gone to Wetherspoons - you have been warned.

Great location for the cathedral and transport museum. The rooms are on the small side but very clean and comfortable. Parking reasonable.

Nothing that I could find fault with.

Very modern & clean. The room was spacious with everything needed. The shower room, although not huge, was well designed & the shower was excellent. The location was excellent being a 10 minute easy walk into the city centre. There's a large car park ( they charge £6 for 24 hours) but this is preferable to parking in a public car park. We didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that. We've stayed in hotels at twice the price which have been considerably poorer.
