Hotel exterior looks a bit tired and the plumbing needs an upgrade. Shower was a bit dodgy!

Hotel with great charm and heritage, especially for Agatha Christie fans. The public areas are huge and beautifully decorated and furnished. Staff are very friendly and the location is excellent. Breakfast is very good and there's plenty of choice. There are magnificent views from the bar and restaurant. We also had wonderful views of the sea and marina from the balcony in our room. Very good value for money overall.

It's a tired hotel that is past its prime but the views are wonderful and the location is perfect. Breakfast is very good but a complete shambles. The staff really didn't want to be spending their sunday morning there!

A bit rough around the edges but that adds to its charm. It wasn't the first time we stayed so we knew what to expect.

Very limited menu choices both in restaurant and bar. An a la carte menu would have been better with greater choice.

We liked the classic style and ambience of the hotel and surrounds. The choices at breakfast were great. Secure parking for our motorbike was a bonus.

Lift bell very loud, felt bad using it at 2am as there is a room adjacent on the floor I was staying on.

We found nothing to dislike here. On a busy morning, the cooked breakfast buffet was a little under pressure, but fresh supplies were still arriving around 9:30am and there was lots of choice. Anyone with mobility issues may need to be aware that there are steps to access some areas and rooms. Also, great shower over the bath. If of concern, maybe have a chat with the staff about your requirements.

An impressive hotel in a great location right by the sea, with great food. All the staff were both friendly and efficient. The room was spacious clean, quiet and comfortable. (A little dated in decor, but we weren't worried by that.) The fantastic view made it a destination in its own right.

The pool closes very early on a weekend. Lighting in the room was very poor.

The rooms were dated in comparison to the rest of the building but that did actually fit in with the age of the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

Very friendly and helpful staff in reception. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. Spa area is nice. Bar prices were reasonable. Public areas of the hotel were well maintained with appropriate decor for the age of the building. Great location.

No blankets in the rooms, but only for use in the balcony during chilly evenings. A little dated decor of a room, but still cosy and with its own character.

Very Clean throughout. Sea facing room with balcony although a little dated was spotless clean and had everything we wanted. Exceptional breakfast Buffet with a wide choice range. Amazing views in a perfect location, few minutes walk to town centre, but in a quiet area.

Bedsheet was dirty . Duvet cover was not changed anyone could understand looking at the cover. Found hairs on the bedsheet.

Location is excellent.View from sea view deluxe room is absolutely stunning. Room is good size . Room should have been more clean. while booking I had mention that I have asthma so needed a clean room. furnitures are very old. Bed sheet was dirty I spotted 7-10 small hair on the bedsheet. Breakfast was very good.
