Dripping shower in room 321 was a bit annoying.

Room was comfortable but a bit small. Breakfasts were excellent. First class. Sarah(?) On reception Friday evening was superb in getting us a table for 9 people at short notice. All staff were pleasant.

The standard rooms are very dated, but clean and warm. If you want a nice modern room you have to pay quite a bit more.

This was our 3rd visit to this hotel, each time we were attending a function there. All of the staff we met were friendly and welcoming. The hotel has a good amount of parking...which is a little expensive, but at least your vehicle is on-site and safe. All the food we had, including our meal at the function was to a good standard, breakfast was buffet style and offered plenty of choice.

The room was very warm despite the heaters not being on. It was slightly uncomfortable. Gym and pool both out of use with no sign of this changing.

Breakfast and evening meal were excellent.

AT THE RIGHT PRICE THE IMPERIAL OFFERS A GOOD ALL-ROUND PACKAGE
    • Leisure trip
    • Group
    • Standard Single Room
    • Stayed 2 nights

The Imperial is a classic, large, impressive hotel from the 'end of empire', and therefore, is also showing its age in layout and condition. It would cost a lot of money to bring it fully up to 21st Century standards. But, if the rate you pay is right, it still offers a good package. However, a shower curtain in my room that was too 300mm too short, rendering the shower unusable, was poor and careless.

Excellent value for money D,B&B package, which understandably came with a small, interior light-well, single room. However, the room was comfortable enough. The staff were very good, especially the experienced waiters at dinner, and the breakfast staff. The breakfast was good, with a wide choice to suit most preferences. Food at dinner was good, but along the lines you get at conference dinners - which is probably this hotel's bread and butter business. Drinks in the bar and wines at dinner were good and well-priced. The hotel is well situated on the seafront and for trams and buses that stop in front, but sufficiently far from the 'jollity' of Blackpool's Golden Mile to be relaxing!

The room was nice and big, but was in need of a facelift. It was very windy on the day we arrived and there was dust on the window sills in the bedroom and bathroom. There was no hairdryer in the room and as we had the deluxe sea view I would have expected to see one. Very few coat hangers in the wardrobe.

Very friendly staff and lovely food.

The rooms are ready for an upgrade. We like the old fashioned style but the bathrooms especially need improvement. We also had hairs in our bath therefore cleaning not up to scratch. The bed was comfortable. Not sure why the headboard was for a double bed yet the bed was a super king.

    The breakfast was lovely
