Good breakfast choice, but didn’t like how some items you have to ask for, (limited orange/fruit juice that had to be asked for, along with items such as yoghurt and cereal being tucked away), rather than it all being help yourself. Makes you feel a little untrusted as a customer.

Newly refurbished rooms since last time we stayed. Our family live very close nearby, so excellent hotel for visiting them.

Really hard, uncomfortable bed. 2 lamps didn't work, so room really dark.

They don’t do fries which I thought was odd as it’s a family hotel and kids can be fussy but it was ok because there was kfc and other take always across the road and they let our daughter bring her food in as they were aware she wanted fries and the manager was very nice , he gave me a refund on the food my daughter wouldn’t eat . He was very nice and welcoming , all the staff was really nice, I can’t really say anything bad at all other than the above which is very minor

The location was excellent, only a 15 minute bus ride from centre and bus stops right outside hotel which is ideal after long travels , Room was really spacious and shower room was fab with self heating towel rails and immaculate clean😍well done to house keeping. The house keeping lady we met both Mornings was so nice and welcoming and very obliging to our needs :)Stunning park down the road about a 10 minute walk, really fabulous and scenic with a play ground and fun for kids. There’s everything you need in the area, shops etc so you wouldn’t need to leave unless you wanted to do some retail shopping in the centre:)

We had to go home and couldn't sadly stay longer

Room was very spacious, there were some renovations going on but it didn't impact our stay.food was great, staff very friendly especially the waiter in the evenings that we had( only chap on shift but sadly didn't get his name) nice character to building. Good location for all the local attractions shortly drive away.

Sofa bed wasn't as comfortable as it could have been, maybe needs a mattress topper!

Family room was spacious and well equipped. The shower was lovely and plenty of towels. The staff were friendly and helpful. Ideal being above a restaurant, lots of choice for food and well priced.

We stayed Sunday evening and the access to our room late Sunday evening was through the nigh5 entrance. The stairs and landing were pretty mucky and littered .

The bathroom needs a sliding door on it. We found the door a nuisance.. Needs better lighting in the room.

We stayed here as we were visiting parents so it was in easy distance of their home. The rooms were warm and comfortable. Will add that Kasper one of the members of staff was outstanding. But all staff were warn and friendly.

Food isn't great although there are fast food places across the road. Breakfast has nothing other than fried stuff and tea / coffee. No juices/ cereals etc which lets it down

Room clean and tidy although wet room bathroom needed work - Drain grubby looking and no toilet roll holder - it was on the back of the toilet. Food is what it is - if you like carvery I guess you will like it but it isn't the best carvery I have had either. They say do one thing well but Toby don't quite manage that at this location (I have to be honest it has put me off eating at other Tobys) Breakfast is poor quality and no continental options or even cold drinks included at breakfast. Staff are really friendly which is great when your away on your own and the beer is good. Most importantly of all for me is the the location which is great for QE hospital. With free parking and just minutes from the motorway I have stayed here a number of times for hospital appointments as it is easy and convenient and cost effective

Funny smell in bathroom Staff not very attentive at breakfast time when we approached regarding a table.They were talking amongst themselves and making themselves drinks.

While the inside was very clean, the outside was littered with cigarette stubs. Also the lightning in the room was very dull.

The bed was a bit hard to sleep on but it wasn't horrible.

We were late for check in but they still helped us and let us in. The room is very nice and spacious. The bathroom also has everything you need. We were assisted whenever We needed something. We also had complimentary coffee and tea in the room which is really nice.

Clarity of night access after 10pm

Always friendly staff. Rooms surprisingly quiet given near a main road. Good free parking with a handy row of shops opposite.
