Our only regret was that we hadn't booked to stay longer.

From the moment we arrived it was clear that the hosts, Abby and Greg really wanted us to have a successful visit. I had messaged beforehand as I am a diagnosed Coeliac. On arrival I was told that they had gluten free sausages, baked beans and bread and that everything would be cooked seperately to avoid cross contamination. My full English breakfast was delicious every day and I felt safe to eat. The room was great with a lovely view of the hills and the sea. Bed comfy and the bathroom a fair size. The nice touch was the supply of gluten free biscuits on arrival.

Laston House is a lovely old building in a great location-there is a lot to see and do around it. It has good parking which is easy to access (unlike lots of other places in this area!).The owners are extremely warm and welcoming and were very helpful when we asked for information about the local area. Our room was very pretty and the en-suite shower was great. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty and was always served with a smile and friendly chat. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

Breakfasts were beautifully cooked, exactly as we wished, and nothing was too much trouble. Laston House is a stunning property. Our room was perfect - extremely comfortable, with wonderful views.

There was nothing to not like.

Hotel was lovely and our room was large with expensive furnishings. Bed was exceptional and had a great sleep. Place was a real hidden gem that we hope to return to. Great breakfast section and poached eggs cooked to perfection.

The house was really beautiful & tastefully decorated to suit the building. Excellent location, short walk to town & harbour, welcoming hosts, fabulous food.

Are door did rattle a little when the front door was opened but we got used to it & some form of blind / voile would be good at the window as the room was at the front & near parking just to help with privacy

The location of the property was perfect with amazing views & grounds, breakfast was lovely & i liked that we could adjust it to meet are requirements with no waster of food. The room was lovely & clean with a very comft bed & maintaned to a high standard

What a great place to stay! The food was spot on and there was plenty to eat 😁 and the place was just a small walk into Ilfracombe . We would definitely stay here again 👍.

Breakfast was at 8am. I was there for work and work starts (ordinarily) at 7:30. So I had to work late to recover the time from my arrival, which with the 25min journey, was around 9am.

Good breakfast, Lovely grounds, a great pub near bye, The staff were helpful and attentive. The room was spacious and fairly well equiped.
