Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The only criticism is I met several guests who were not aware that they had to place their room card on a card reader in the lift. to take them to the floor of their room. There is a perception that all guests should know they have to do this, but There are generations who are not aware of these things.

The bed in our room was very uncomfortable and no support, plus we seemed to be next to a generator which kept me awake through the night.
The staff are always so professional and welcoming. Plus the location is excellent.

Breakfast is expensive per person if you're staying multiple nights (It's close to 17 euros pp / around 14 pounds). If you're on a budget and don't mind having a small one it's much more cost-effective to go out and get something like porridge pot / fruit and eat it in your room.
Location-wise, it's perfect. Everything is walkable and it's easy to navigate to and from if you're out shopping and want to head for a break. In terms of sound, we were there for the May Bank Holiday and there were a lot of stags / hen parties etc. You could hear music from outside the window but it was muffled enough that I was able to rest. I do recommend earplugs though if you're a light sleeper because you don't know what your fellow guests are like! The front desk staff are fab and very welcoming and check-in and out was super easy.

The hotel is very well-designed & opposite the main shopping area. Rooms are large with comfortable beds and a great view over the quiet square. It has an excellent Italian restaurant where you can also have breakfast.

New restaurant. Staff not friendly since changing restaurants. Felt like they were rushing us at breakfast because they wanted time to set up for lunch. 7.30pm reservation for dinner but 8.30pm before we were seated. Slow service. Over priced. Unfriendly and unhelpful bar staff - lack of staff.

The whole experience was brilliant. We arrived early just to leave our bag - the very pleasant receptionist advised us our room was ready. Lovely comfortable and clean room and nice bathroom. It was also very quiet. Breakfast in the morning was excellent and lots of choice.

Our room was very noisy throughout the night - even with windows closed and curtains drawn, very loud music from outside. Perhaps heavier drapes could be installed to keep the noise out. Only applied to room on one side of the corridor.
