The bath in room 2 needs a bit of foam over the edge, I caught my leg against it as the gap at the bathroom doorway is rather small.

Was very problematic trying to amend my booking although the staff made every effort to be helpful but was still a worry snx took days to sort which added to stress as I was in area due to family bereavement. Location was not ideal for finding food in evening as hotel bar was not open during my stay

Food offer was very limited and wasn’t anything close by to walk to. Breakfast was a good cooked breakfast but there was no continental buffet with juices and pastries etc to help yourself.

Not being able to get into the hotel at 2145 when arrived as I found it all locked up. Itinery said to arrive before 2200. Once inside it was fine - nice spacious room well decorated.

I chose the location as travelling for work. It was easy to find and had local shops/fuel station near by. My stay was very comfortable. Staff were welcoming. My room was clean and bright. A variety of breakfast's offered, I chose the English breakfast and it was lovely. Would recommend this hotel.

arrived at 4 pm which was the check in time and there was nobody at reception I tried to contact them on the number provided but no answer. someone eventually turned up at 10 past 4

Being hassled by phone about my arrival time, the sticky mess under the bed, one of the bedside lamps not working, the notice on the wall telling me I’d be charged if I broke a mug, the surly cleaning staff hovering like vultures outside half an hour before check-out time.

The size of the chalet, the peace and quiet, the decor, the supply of coffee and water, the fact that it was generally well-maintained and clean.

was a bit dated & the decor was very plain. could do with a few modern touches. unfortunately we had a leak in our bathroom with water pouring in through the ceiling light (during a rainstorm). however they quickly changed us to another room.

We have stayed with you before so when we had to come down for a funeral we knew instantly were we would stay. Even told family members and they stayed too. Definitely would stay again

Mattress on the bed was a bit too soft for my preference.

It would have been nice to have an option for breakfast or meals in rooms? I had to leave early in the morning and needed to do some work when I was back in the evening so did not really have time to go to the bar.

I thought the rooms were really lovely. Just what you need when travelling. Had everything I needed. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. I was travelling with work, so it was good value for money too.
