The shower pressure was very poor but temperature was great so that made up for it a little.

The grounds were beautiful, me and my family enjoyed walking around the premises taking in all of the nature! The rooms were lovely and nice touch with the biscuits and bottled water.

Bed was awful - a poor nights sleep. The mattress was very unsupportive - springs sagged on both sides of the bed where people sleep, better in the central part which was unused. Asked for wake-up call - twice - but no call provided.

Nothing to report as it met our needs.

We enjoyed having a good room with ensuite bathroom, fresh towels and wash items. The large bed was so comfortable and we had a good night's sleep. We really enjoyed the breakfast which was self service and hot food order, so reducing unnecessary waste. The location is superb in a quiet village location with parking. We have stayed here before as it is ideal for our needs.

Self service breakfast OK, choice of eggs other than fried would have improved it. Evening meal in restaurant was excellent, interesting menu and well cooked food presented beautifully. Situation of hotel was perfect for us, bad weather restricted our exploration of the grounds but the setting looked impressive through the windows.

Breakfast staff and food poor. After spilling quite a considerable amount of coffee from a flask, as it was almost empty and letting a member of staff know, he then proceeded to say “it’s not my job”. Extremely rude and unprofessional instead of saying “I’ll let the waiting staff know”. There wasn’t anything in the room to say when breakfast would be, or anything to welcome us to the hotel. This is something we’ve seen in almost every hotel we’ve stayed at previously, and the attention to detail was lacking in most areas.

Evening meal and bar staff really lovely.

Cooked breakfast very good. Continental/ cereal breakfasts ok, though would have been happy to pay a little more for better products.

As with every older building there were signs of wear and tear but I’d be super critical to complain about that. I did feel like it was a shame it was so quiet. Hardly a guest in the place. I wonder if there is a trick being missed somewhere.

Easy to park, fabulous grounds with a welcoming entrance. Although extensively refurbished there are still features of the old Quorn Grange I remember for working there 30 years ago. The bedroom was large and contained a massive comfortable bed(slept so well). There was a bath too and the nice touch of guest toiletries on the side. Tea coffee and hot chocolate on the side ready to be made. Had the weather been better I’d have enjoyed the double doors which do open on to the car park but still very leafy. The breakfast was basic but nothing was missed. The offer of a freshly cooked breakfast was given but I opted for the buffet continental instead. The restaurant itself formed of the original bar area and part of the original restaurant was light and airy and well laid out. It was a pleasure to stay and I will be visiting again.

    Nothing not to like!

Spacious well equipped room, quiet, with comfortable bed and excellent BIG bath! Excellent breakfasts and dinners - and staff which would be the envy of many hotels: polite but friendly, and giving the impression of really enjoying their jobs. For us it made all the difference, raising the grade from good to excellent. Parking good too.
