Reception staff on day of arrival were unfriendly. I had chatted to the hotel via the chat service on booking.com and asked for early check in to be arranged and the receptionist quite rudely told me they are reception and not reservation and cannot accommodate earlier check in. I had also asked on the chat if my Amazon deliveries could come to the hotel and this was confirmed but reception seemed perplexed at first and then later said they could check if it arrived. I found this poor customer service as first experience with hotel. Rooms do not come with bedroom slippers and after entering from the streets it’s not ideal to walk around the room with the same dirty shoes. Pillows are not firm, does not provide comfortable night sleep

The bed was very well used, covered on top with a mattress topper didn’t do much, just sunk into the bed. The air conditioning was also incredibly noisy.

There wasn’t much not like it was extremely functional. The staff in the breakfast room were very friendly, but the food was just okay.

It was centrally located and had everything you needed. It was good value for money compared to other London hotels in the area. The bathroom was great and we were really happy that the windows opened so that fresh air could come in. I don’t know if there were building work going on, but no taxes seem to be able to drop us off outside, we weren’t quite sure where it was with it being behind other buildings. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

There are only two small lifts, which could be an issue in busier times, if people have lots of luggage etc but in all honesty it was fairly quiet when I was there.

Really lovely room - looked like it had been redone since I last stayed there. Excellent location.

Building works across the road we were not aware off as this is not mentioned anywhere. In addition the system was down in the hotel which meant we had to pay for everything by card as we ordered.

The bed in our first room was uncomfortable - however the team addressed this the next morning and organised an alternative room which was very comfortable.

Fantastic location right next to the Bond Street tube station and walking distance to everything in Soho, West End etc. Clean and spacious rooms and the property was very quiet. Staff were warm and friendly.
