The TV in my room kept turning itself on. I fortunately found a way to unplug it inside the closet. Despite the room being large enough, there was no sitting chair. The bathroom floor was a bit damaged and creaked.

My room was big with a good ensuite bathroom. It was quiet at night an had ample parking. The hotel has a restaurant and pub, which was convenient since there otherwise is not much nearby. I like walking down to the nearby nature reserve.

The bath water wasn't really very hot - but that's probably due to the fact that we arrived late at night.

Handy for Edinburgh Airport and good on-site parking. Nice cooked breakfast. Without exception, the staff were lovely.

Dinner took a long time to arrive but was good when it arrived. There was a function going on in another room so staff and kitchen may have been focused on them. The bar staff were apologetic and explained the reason for the delay.

Staff very helpful. We had a room in an annexe building which was ideal because we were with a dog so could get her outside for a walk easily.

Some old dust behind the sink and in the bathroom air vent. They didn't refilled the coffee/tea table and didn't replaced the used cup.

Location! Very strategic. It's 20 mins away from Edimburgh Airport and rental car stall, 35 mins from edinburgh city centre and 45 from Glasgow City. They have a VERY tasty scottish breakfast and a nice restaurant/bar to have dinner. The beds are super comfy.

We did book a double room but were presented with a twin instead. We just pushed the beds together.

The staff at this hotel are exceptionally welcoming and friendly throughout the hotel. The rooms are a good size, comfortable and well equipped. The price was excellent value for money and the breakfasts were the best we have ever had.

No bedside tables and lamps. First night we were worried about noise as reception told us there was a quiz and karaoke which could go on until 1am but we didn't hear anything

The largeness of the room was quite overwhelming for me staying just the one night and on my own ... the ceiling was very high and the blinds and curtains required a bit of effort to close given their sheer size. These are not criticisms of the room per se but observations given that I usually don't stay in rooms quite so grand! What appears at first glance to be a double bed is actually two single beds adjacent to each other which wasn't a problem for me but thought it was worth pointing out in case people have a preference for a double.

I arrived a little later than anticipated and the staff were very friendly and accommodating upon my arrival ... including a nice piece of humorous banter with the duty manager when I rang the hotel earlier! Although I arrived mid-evening food was still being served and I ordered a steak pie with chips (and a pint!) which was really nice and decently priced. The room I was staying in was much larger than I'd anticipated and it was clean with all the facilities I required for my one night stay. I didn't take up the offer of breakfast as I needed to make a quick getaway in the morning. There was ample car parking space in the hotel grounds.

On arrival reception staff very abrupt, certainly not a friendly welcome, further training is necessary i would say, as that is ones first impression of a hotel, reception.

I was on a walking holiday, a long way off a bus route. Either a hike up a steep hill or a long walk down a hill. Bathroom was full of mould behind the bath taps. Bath very slippery. Could hear people next door and above.

Pillows and bedding were way to soft, no support for neck or body. Found it challenging to sleep. No lift.

Room OK for one night. Around 20 minutes drive to Edinburgh airport. Warm room. Good shower. Parking available. Great restaurant attached.

This is essentially a motel that has seen better days, showing signs of long-overdue maintenance. The windows were drafty, the heating couldn't be turned on, there was a smell of food in the hallways, and there was no hot water at the sink. The separate apartments associated with the hotel may be in better condition.

We easily found the accommodation and were able to park in its private parking lot.

We only received two bath towels… total. There were no hand towels, bath mats, wash cloths etc. at all. We went to the front desk and asked for some hand towels and they informed us they had a shortage and could only give us another bath towel. It worked but it was rather odd.

We originally just booked two double rooms, when we arrived, it looked like a large bus of tourists had filled the hotel, so when we received our keys to our room and opened the door, we were amazed! It was the honeymoon suite, and, it was fabulous!!!! Little did the staff know that it was our wedding anniversary. We have never enjoyed a better upgrade as much!!

The room was very hot and not very soudproof. People walking on the corridors, opening doors loudly and noise from the carpark.

Close to Edinburgh. Nice stop on the way to Scotland. Nice size room overlooking the car park. and bathroom with bath.. There is a bar and restaurant. .
