United KingdomI was looking forward to spending time in the spa, swimming and using the gym. Unfortunately just a couple of days before our arrival we were informed that the spa would be closed. There were quite a few of us staying at the hotel, but the rooms we got were very hit and miss. We had no bottled water but others did. Our tea, coffee, biscuits were not replenished, and we had an ironing board but no iron. My sister had an iron but no ironing board. Others were supplied with robes and slippers and even a fridge but not us. I'm aware that they are undergoing extensive refurbishment, but I'm sure more effort could have been put into dressing the rooms to make up for the lack of other facilities.
The location of this hotel is excellent, close to the beach, park, and shops. The breakfast service and our special dinner were both superb with friendly staff who looked after us well.

United KingdomI thought the room was very small. The bed was very old and creaky. Our room was right near the heating/air conditioning which rumbled the whole time and made sleeping difficult. I don't think this room should be available to customers.
I liked the price and the last minute availability. I'm grateful for the tea and coffee facilities and the bath.
