Everything superb.

The owner upgraded our booking from a twin room to a suite of rooms. The standard of furnishings was high and the room sizes generous and well laid out. Car parking was immediately alongside the suite of rooms which have their own entrance. Breakfast was not included but the owner has negotiated a discount of 20% at the Boston Tea Party which is also high quality and in a great location. The guest house is very central and, from our perspective, in minimal distance from multiple public charging points for our EV. Alex was very friendly an d helpful throughout.

We booked a last-minute stay, and we needed 3 beds for a night turned out that room was so clean and huge with specious bathroom for all of us. We were so happy that we could book this guest house it wasn't far away from the city centre and it was great value for money. Definitely best guest house.

The towels were okay but only bath size not bath sheet so quite small compared to other places we’ve stayed. Also felt they weren’t very soft however this didn’t spoil are stay just something that could be improved.

You can park your car and then walk to all the cafes, restaurants and places of interest. Room was large with super comfortable bed. Lovely hot shower with luxury toiletries. Pascal who greeted us and looked after us during our stay was the perfect host giving us plenty of information about the area.

The accommodation is very well located in the centre of the village, it has a lot of charm and confort so it is ideal for a couple's weekend enjoiying Stratford-upon-Avon. We arrived later than expected in the evening and Alex sorted all out to make it easy for us to check-in. Once there, Pascal welcomed us very kindly and gave us very good recommendations. Salamander Guest House is a highly recommended accommodation to get to discover and enjoy Stratford

It was slightly noisy with other guests coming and going and walking around but I was on the ground floor so this may have been the reason.

This guest house is a lovely property close to the amenities of town. The hosts were lovely (saw Pascal at the property and spoke to Alex via SMS as she was unfortunately unavailable during my stay, although she was available via SMS if I did need her) they were both pleasant and couldn't do enough for you, I was provided on arrival with a map and recommendations of places to eat which was greatly appreciated. The beds and pillows were lovely and soft and comfortable. There was a well stocked tea tray with biscuits and different types of teas and coffee with sugar and milk. The room also came with towels and shower gels/shampoo to use if needed. I booked a single room and was given an upgrade on arrival to a twin bedroom which was very thoughtful of the hosts and was much appreciated! Overall I had a lovely stay here and would recommend this place to anyone needing a place to stay while visiting!!!

All was well, can not fault anything.

Excellent stay, again. It was my second stay at Salamander Guest House and if anything, it was even better than last time. The house is very clean, modern, newly refurbished in a very convenient location. Very close to everything in the town center and to the train station. The host was wonderful, very polite, always with a smile, very welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

No view from room , but it wasn't really problem . There was a bit of traffic noise , but I am a light sleeper , and I had the window open .

I found the bath towel a bit small, I like to wrap myself in it, but it is probably just me :).

Excellent location, very close to everything in the town center and the train station too. The room is very clean, comfortable and modern. The bathroom looked newly refurbished and also very clean. The toiletries and the beverage selection was great and luxurious. All in all a great accommodation and very welcoming owners.

Maybe offer a simple continental breakfast downstairs? Not much else needed.

A lovely host with a personal welcome. Almost as relaxing as staying at your own home. Very near the theatre and restaurants etc, and a free car park.
