Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

No room services throughout stay. Never saw staff, had to leave towels outside room for changing. Staff never entered your rooms so bins not emptied all week unless you did it yourself. Stated continental breakfast, only choice was cereal, bowl of plain yoghurt for everyone to share and 2 bowls of fruit and toast. Nothing else offered. Nobody around when leaving left key on table in hallway.
Large spacious room with fridge. Large bathroom and shower. Good view from window.

Do not like the stairs,the go up to the door

It's not ideal for people with walking difficulties as there are steep steps from the carpark and quite steep stairs up to the rooms.
Lovely house with great views breakfast was continental which was adequate a few pastries would have been nice

The only slight drawback was the number of stairs we had to climb, first to the property itself and then to our room on the second floor. In all fairness, we appreciate that these big old houses are not suitable for lifts and there is no criticism intended of either the property or its owners. It is just the way things are, in probably very many hotels and guest houses in Llandudno.
Continental breakfast was very good, the room was spacious, very clean and quiet and afforded us great views. The owners were very friendly and helpful too.

The location was amazing and the fact that we could park our car and leave it safely for a few days was great. The owners were lovely and the room was very clean . We can't wait to return next year , the view from our room was stunning

There were plenty of cereals and fruit available and as much toast and tea and coffee as you wanted but we were surprised that there wasn't a full English cooked breakfast option, that is one thing we do enjoy when we are on holiday. We ended up not having breakfast at the hotel 3 mornings of our stay and just bought it elsewhere. That is our only niggle.
Onsite parking was good as the streets were littered with cars parked all over the pavements. The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly.

Nothing, we found Sefton Court great value
The room was lovley, it was quirky and had a boutique feel to it. We were greated by the friendly owners and home made lemon drizzle cake, yum yum! We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed an extra night.

Lovely, spacious clean room..light and airy. Simple, yet stylish decor., maintaining wonderful.original features. Nice layout. Super, complimentary breakfast of cereal, fruit, yogurt, toast and tea or coffee. Home comforts. Friendly staff. Private parking was an added bonus.

One small thing, we would of liked a toilet brush or something in the bathroom.
Comfortable bed and tea and coffee making facilities. Nice and quiet. We like the fact that we were just left to it and could come and go as we pleased. Great carpark! Great location within walking distance to everything.

Everything, hotel, location, wonderful staff, sea views from our top room, on site parking which is definitely a bonus. What more could you ask. If we ever go to Llandudno again this will definitely be the place to stay. A tough act to follow.
