Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Everything great.
Everything was fantastic from the lovely welcome on arrival, the fantastic food and the oh so helpful staff. A real home from home. Will definitely be returning later in the year.

No pillow protectors, bed was well too firm, both suffering with bad back now. Breakfast wasn't included so on the last morning we decided to pay for breakfast, bad idea, all was undercooked and not hot,we couldn't finish it,even the coffee was only warm,waste of money. The shower mat wasn't very clean, mould underneath it, the iron had a burn mark on the iron plate, the kettle hadn't been emptied, full of bits. The rooms view was only a view of the car park and a flat roof, water pressure was a joke, expected more for the money I paid, we will not return!
Liked the location, ideal spot, spacious room.sfaff were friendly and helpful.

Very little that we didn't like, only thing to maybe consider is Aircon. We stayed in the new build and we were very hot during the night even with heating off. Other guests had said they were also hot during the night. The hotel had kindly placed fans in the room to use but these can be noisy when trying to sleep. Being on the ground floor we didn't feel we could have slept with the window wide open.
Many, many positives. Great curb appeal. Very welcoming feel. Staff are very friendly, dogs are very well looked after here. They receive a goodie bag and a bowl of water at every meal. A lovely paddock overlooking local horses for the dogs to exercise and use the toilet. Beautiful bathroom, large, very clean and well maintained bedrooms ( new build ). Food is 10/10, we enjoyed all of our meals.we could see the restaurant was always busy with events such as birthdays. Location is great, walked to the beach within 20 mins. We would love to visit again in the future.

It was very cold out but our room was extremely hot and think it could have been turned down a tad. Also was woken in the night by the radiator making clanking sound (query needs bleeding).
Very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was very spacious bed comfy with tea/coffee facilities. Small fridge and nice to be able to get bottled water from the bar for free.

Nothing - would stay here again.
This place was amazing! I love that it was pet friendly and had a doggy treat bag. There was also an area for dogs to run. Bed and room was really great. I loved the diner as well.

Only issue was very salty cooked breakfast.
English breakfast was very salty so switched to continental. Good beer at the bar. Dinner was good but menu was in danger of becoming too exotic.

Hardly anything! Shingle car park makes dragging a case difficult.
Hadn’t visited since new wing was built…its a wonderful addition, beautifully fitted out and decorated, and very comfortable. Breakfast was as excellent as it has always been!
