The only thing that I'd like to see change was the need to add my car registration to both the check in form and the iPad, but that's it.

The room was a lovely temperature and spotless. The shower was powerful and felt genuinely at ease. Check in was straight forward.

Furniture needed a coat of varnish but this is a minor issue. Shower could be a little better.

We had a smallish but comfortable room, which was quiet with a view of trees etc. All staff were lovely. Breakfast was really nice. Very good value for money - many thanks

The breakfast was not suitable for me, personally. I ended up buying my own food a grocery store.

I loved that the hotel is right on the university campus and located conveniently to the bus stop. It was great that there was a bathtub in the room! The staff were friendly and accomodating.

The windows only open a little and due to the small size the room gets warm very quickly, which is great in winter but a bit uncomfortable in warmer weather. But keep the door shut after your shower and pack a fan if you can and it should be fine.

Absolutely outstanding staff manning the hotel, both at Reception and in the restaurant/bar. There's plenty of parking, the onsite restaurant has a large variety of options, plenty of non-crowded seating, and the meals themselves are excellent. The shower was very good too. The location is incredible, far enough from the actual university to be quiet but not so far that you can't walk two minutes and see the loch, Ochills, and the general beauty of the campus. The prices are an absolute bargain considering the location, restaurant, and brilliant staff. Very happy with my stay and I expect most people would be too. Thank you again.

Breakfast room was understaffed and refilling empty trays took time. Also clearing the table during the breakfast didn't happen. There were no clean plates anywhere at one point

Nice clean rooms. Reception staff friendly and efficient. Location perfect for University activities.

    The pillows were not comfortable.

Nice room and friendly helpful staff. The use of the swimming pool on campus was a bonus. The only thing that would make this hotel special is if it had a view of the lake from the front.

The rooms are a little tired and could do with a bit of an update. The bed is quite small for a hotel as is the television and there was some paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom.

Lovely location with great staff and excellent breakfast.

I cant think of anything I didnt like. I did read reviews on TripAdvisor to which some sounded bad but everyone has different expectations and experiences

The staff were brilliant, chatty, helpful and smiling. The hotel is in the grounds with the University and there is a loch. The grounds are beautful and peaceful. I drove so had to register my car as so not to get a parking ticket. At first I did think its too far out from the town but there is a bus service which I used a cpl of times. Its great. I did walk from the hotel to the town centre which is about a 50 min walk. To the Wallace monument it's about a 25 min walk to the car park and cafe at the base ( a further 20 min walk up unless you take the free shuttle bus ).. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice. I did have one evening meal which was only sweet potato chips with chilli sauce and a side of olives. The chips were great and the portion size was much larger than I expected.

Even with the radiator off, it got very warm in the room. Being a ground floor room, we were conscious of not having the window open. Perhaps including a fan in these rooms would be good.

Comfy bed, friendly staff, good breakfast and we loved the view and we saw some deer.

Later check out time of 11 would be nicer

Room was comfortable, staff were all really friendly and helpful, breakfast was great (lots of choice, especially nice fresh fruit), location is lovely being in the middle of the university grounds (during Easter holidays so really quite with most students away). Great location for going into Stirling and all the countryside around.
