The lodge boasts an excellent location, just a short two-minute stroll to the beach, making it an ideal spot for beach lovers. Equipped with all the essentials for a cozy stay, the lodge offers a tranquil environment conducive to a restful night. The comfort of the beds further ensures a good night's sleep. The bathroom was a bit cold as I couldn't get the heated towel rail to work. As it happens, the weather was very mild for February so we were lucky.

Loved the homely feel about the chalet. Lovely and cosy and very comfortable. Excellent proximity to the sea and the beach and so lovely and quiet. Could easily move in there permanently! Must also mention the lovely, comfortable bed and the great decorations in the chalet. I would really like to stay there again another time.

Great location close to the beach. Beautifully furnished with all the mod cons. The small garden will be lovely for the summer. The hosts' welcome for the 3 of us and two puppies was wonderful with lots of helpful information about the area (though my husband did grow up nearby) and things to do. Highly recommended

The cabin is lovely and very comfortable. The double bedroom was huge and had a lovely clean and comfortable bed. We enjoyed our stay so much we have reserved it again for a week in the summer Thankyou John and Sue for a lovely winter stay

Property was dressed for Xmas , we almost didn't go because of weather forecast ( very cold ice on roads ) radiators in property worked so good I turned them down and we didn't even have to use log effect fire .superb accommodation very clean and comfortable, will be going again.

This lodge is an absolute gem and the photos really don't do it justice.Sue and John are both so lovely and kind and they have thought of everything you could could ever need and more and the double bed is the comfiest I have slept in.Everything was spotless and we hope to visit again very soon

There wasn't anything we didn't like!

The location was superb, just a two minute walk from sandy South Shore beach, which was great for walking our dog. also very close to local attractions. The chalet accommodation itself was one of the best we've been to, very clean and comfortable - a great home from home!

The second bedroom was more a single bed than a double ..my friend who slept in this room is just over 6ft tall and found the bed only just long enough for his height.. However..he didn't complain about his Comfort.

the chalet is decorated beautifully, with a large fenced garden . The chalet is in a quiet location and only 2 mins walk to the beach. I’ve stayed here a-few times and always look forward to staying again .

Nothing.

Lovely, comfortable, homely feel for a few days away. Everything you'd need in the kitchen for preparing meals after a day out. DVDs a nice extra touch for something to watch in the evening. Lovely to sit outside with a drink.
