Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomSuppling hand towels would be a bonus and the bathrooms could do with modernisation. Some of the pillows were lumpy. Be aware there is no phone signal, but understandable for the location.
The house is very secluded and access is down a single track lane. It had amazing views of the countryside and felt very safe. Della was a lovely host and was on hand should you require any help. The house itself was very spacious and the hot tub is a great addition. Although we had issues with the cleanliness of the hot tub Della did her best to rectify the problem. We took are elderly mother with us and we were grateful for the ground floor bedrooms (1 double & 1 single). The shower room was also on the ground floor. A further bathroom and additional toilet is on the first floor with the remaining 5 bedrooms. Most mattresses were very soft except for one bedroom that was extremely hard. Make sure you remember to take hand towels for the 3 toilets along with your bath towels. In summary we enjoyed our stay. Its the perfect place to get away from it all and explore the Brecon countryside.

United KingdomNothing it was just right for us
This place is a home away from home. Everything you need and more. An amazing equipped kitchen! We had home cooked meals with the family and nothing was missing. The views are outstanding, breath taking and so peaceful. The owners are close by if needed, the farm itself is amazing and my children loved the sheep! Loved watching them being fed in the morning and afternoon. It was a treat. There is everything you need here for a family get away. To really connect and leave your troubles behind. Beauitful. There is so much room in the house. Photos do not do it justice. The best feature is the dinning room with a large family table to sit down at and enjoy a nice cooked meal together. The kids were allowed to play in the gated field next door, we climbed all the way up the back with the kids and well you guessed it more breath taking views. I cannot fault this place. It is about a 15 minute drive from the town itself but worth it. The front room had a lovely electric fire with TV, dvd and sky. You could just relax of an evening. I just can't fault it. We were given our privacy but welcomed warmly. Thank you so much for such a peaceful break in such a beautiful warm home.

United KingdomOnly thing we couldn't find in the kitchen was chopping boards, so very minor. A couple of the rooms didn't get very warm, but plenty of blankets supplied.
Lovely house, hosts kept us informed of the incoming storm and road closure. Lots of space for everyone when the weather was awful outside meant we had plenty of room for games and eating.

United KingdomNothing we couldn’t sort out. When we arrived it was a bit nippy. Once we worked out where the heating button was though - all was completely fine. WiFi was patchy - but there if you needed it. You may need a bit of patience/sharing of the WiFi. However, I am one of those people more than happy to take a break from it all - so completely not a problem for me. We all managed just fine. Minor things. Major happiness / relaxation over-ruled everything.
The location was quiet, peaceful but absolutely beautiful. It was just the right place for getting together and reconnecting with family, whilst able to have the dogs in the house too - being a real bonus. The hot-tub was absolutely incredible. The large table for everyone to sit around and chat / play games - was a real highlight. There was also more kitchen equipment than you could ever need - good quality too. Ample room to move around and relax - so suits those who want to mingle as much as those who want their own space. Warm toasty fire in the living room was like a warm hug. The surrounding walking area is beautiful. We weren’t there long but managed to get up to the top of the hill directly behind the farmhouse. Which was well, well worth it. Just wish I had had more time to explore! A real sense of being together in a really relaxed, welcoming space. We will definitely return! Everyone keeps on saying to me ‘Speak to Della and get us booked back in.’ I think we’re planning to make it at least an annual thing. I honestly saw more smiles on my families faces, and more relaxed, than I’ve seen for a long time because of Covid etc. We’re a very family family (if that makes sense). Della and her family (the hosts) are of exactly the same thinking. They were very warm & welcoming. Right- on hand if you needed anything. But they also completely respect your own space and trust you. It’s like having really friendly and fun neighbours. Idyllic. Whilst you can see they are also balancing hosting alongside running the farm etc & working. They still will help you however you need. We hope to see them all again soon. In short, it’s one of those places you want to tell people about… but also keep secret. Like a favourite beach. You don’t want everyone booking it the week you want to go now, do you ;-). Yet it would be a complete disservice to not highlight the great time we had. Lifelong memories in the bank. Everyone from 8-60 loved it.

United KingdomBeing a bigger group it would have been handy to have a second shower upstairs over the bath.
The location was ideal for exploring the Brecon Beacons and was so nice to be away from normal life. The accommodation was spacious, well equipped, warm, clean and tidy. The owners were so helpful and even provided us with details for a takeaway and a taxi to deliver it to us!

United KingdomLoads of room for everyone, everyone has their own bedroom and more than 1 bathroom so your not queuing. Great bbq facilities and ample outdoor seating for everyone. Really good privacy and nice views to wake up to. Hosts were awesome, checking if we needed anything when we arrived. Other than that offered us privacy during our stay. Brecon is about 15 min drive away for shops, pubs, supermarkets. Came in a group but would come back again with family/friends.

United KingdomHi When we arrived she stopped us instead welcoming us to place, she was saying why are 3 cars, but we booked for 12 peoples and we were 12 but she was saying no u shouldn't and then she changed her mind and said your OK for up to 15 peoples. We had power cut on second day on that freezing cold weather, she came and said she is sorry but we were keep having power cut, house was freezing cold, my kids and my friend kids has got cold, they missed school today as well due having cold, heater was keep turning off, water was keep getting cold and one day my son was having shower and then water gone cold we had to boil kettle to make hot water for him. We left the house nice and spotless, I'm ocd myself I cant leave anywhere when is not clean, we left all rubbish outside in separate bin bags. Only the thing we haven't done removing the linen on bed and we didn't know that. She told us when we were on the way. But we did clean every where in house. But due power cut and not having heating and hot water my kids got cold. I've to stay at home with them and lose money. I'm expecting refund. Thank you
