Some board games eg scrabble/ chess in the lounge would have been nice.

Breakfast was very tasty. Beautiful location. Really dog friendly- a table outside the restaurant to keep our dog with us for breakfast and even a sausage for the dog!

Bed could have been more comfortable and the curtains in our room did not fit

The food and the staff were excellent I couldn’t fault the service in any way . My wife left something in our room when we left and just one phone call to the hotel saw it posted back within 24 hours. Amazing

Such a beautiful stay at the coed. Absoloutely fantastic staff and stunning venue for our wedding. The staff couldn't do enough for us, and everything was just perfect!

The table collapsed mid breakfast so that was something... the hotel had been shut for a few weeks when we visited and parts were still in the process of being finished although I fully appreciate that the staff made every effort to not let this be an inconvenience

Staff were very friendly the location was perfect for business in Pencoed, building was very pleasant and the room was comfortable and clean.

Bed could do with updating but ok and the curtains in our room did not fit This is constructed criticism only .

Nothing, it was a wonderful stay!

Everything! From the first moment we entered the manor we were greeted so warmly, the lady even offered us a better bigger room in the house which was a generous and pleasant surprise after a long drive. The bedroom was beautifully designed,clean, and well equipped. The food was incredibly tasty and classy. And the barman was a great conversationalist telling us all about the spooky history of hauntings in the manor.

The shower couldn’t be turned on from outside the door. Shower head was very high up and couldn’t be adjusted.

Lovely staff, very welcoming and friendly. Room was cosy and comfortable. Stayed as I attended a Christmas Function and didn’t want to bother with the hassle of a taxi to and from. The function was incredible, would definitely attend more in the future.

Didn't mind having to pay a £50 on arrival, but not happy having to wait up to 10 days to have it put back in my bank account as we didn't use it on the bar, this is the only thing that let the hotel down

Amazing staff never been anywhere where all the staff were so helpful and friendly, super dog friendly, food was great, good portions and quality was excellent, considering it's a hotel, I thought prices were reasonable, very pleasant surroundings and very comfortable stay, we would definitely recommend 😀

This property was a gorgeous location! The room was a big size and the eve was very comfortable! The staff were beyond helpful and super acclamations! Really loved this place and we would happily stay again if it’s sent so busy with weddings but we can see why it’s a popular wedding venue, it is a Simple’s running and the staff are envy to none!

There was nothing we didn't like.

How they catered for the dog. It's really important that the dog is made to feel as welcome as we are. The afternoon tea for both us and our dog was delicious. The room was comfortable and spacious.
