Great setting just the lodges need all the outside doors to the lodges need painting and the area need a tidy up and the space outside the patio doors could do to a paint and a tidy up but all in all good breakfast and nice food

Room was ok clean and light a little dated ,the view to one side was fine but over looked ,staff rooms,that not a problem for use just think the staff should be allowed there privercy ,may be buy them ,the one way glass foil 🤔🤔🤔🫣🫣🙂

Refurbishment had been done but paint was very strong smelling, they did move us. We didn’t realise you had to ask for the room to be cleaned.

Staff were good but you had to keep asking for cups, glasses etc. Full English was good, other options not so good

We have been coming for years but our last 2 stays have shown the accommodation to be looking tired and in need of decoration, especially the bathroom.

We stay here often as it breaks our drive home and we love the river, the staff and its good value for money.

Very noisy room overlooking the carpark. We could also hear the next room's TV and constant loud talking which was really annoying. The bathroom door was very stiff to open. One of the windows had a net curtain but the other one didn't meaning for privacy we had to keep the main curtains closed or everyone in the carpark could look in our window.

Bathroom needs to have grab rails to get into bath and hold in shower. Bath surface very slippery and dangerous - should have a better grip.

Property was ok needs updating on the windows they were old wood frames which collected a lot of condensation. A bit pricy food was ok ish.

The room was lovely but a bit dated. The windows could all do with a bit of TLC and the bathroom. Seemed to be a warmish temp for the bath (never really got hot) which was a little disappointing, but I still appreciated being able to have one!

Being on the river exe was lovely, great scenery and helpful staff. I had a delicious evening meal there and appreciated having a bath tub in the room too! It was fairly quiet during my stay which was lovely as I didnt need to book a table and there was no noise during the night/morning.

The bathroom of the room, although spacious, was in the eves. Accessing shower was difficult, and my husband had to crouch. Water was also not very hot. The shower curtain rail, due to sloping roof, is only about 15" long. Therefore, water is not contained. The beam in the middle of the bedroom also impedes movement. When I booked, if I had realised that was the actual room we were getting, I would not have booked it. The view, however, was beautiful.

Staff were lovely. Food was lovely. Very nice position by the river.

Did explain as we left……. the shower was over the bath - and it didn’t drain away properly, taking several minutes after the water was turned off. The toilet seat was loose, wobbly. (And a rather cheap one.) The heated (very very hot) towel rail was also very wobbly and felt altogether dodgy.

Liked the size and comfort of the bed. Superb! Dinner uninspiring in chilly bar area - however the staff were warm and friendly. Enjoyed the view across the river.
